Here, you can configure a FLOC, edit or delete a FLOC, see recommended tasks, browse created RCM analyses, study the hierarchy, and see specs. For additional information and options, see [IMS Details Page](/v410/docs/ims-details-page-options). The FLOC Details Page can be divided into the following sections. ## Header The header of the Details Page shows the FLOC name and a number of navigation options. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/RCM_header.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T21%3A55%3A06Z&se=2026-10-28T22%3A55%3A06Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=t8PhDAQceBv6l3Q8hojA8jnK204PLcAoko1RLcWhr9Q%3D) The following items are displayed: | **Icon** | **Item** | **Description** | | --- | --- | --- | | | FLOC ID | The unique name of the FLOC, for example P1101A. | | ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/floc-temp-image-pkn00zvq.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T21%3A55%3A06Z&se=2026-10-28T22%3A55%3A06Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=t8PhDAQceBv6l3Q8hojA8jnK204PLcAoko1RLcWhr9Q%3D) | Active | A green line under the FLOC name means the FLOC is active. This field is not editable but calculated. If the value for the FLOC Level is not available, this field is hidden. For information on the rest of the fields listed in this section, see [Creating RCM FLOCs](/v410/docs/rcm-flocs). ### Editing a FLOC To edit a FLOC, do the following: 1. Go to the FLOC Details Page. 2. In the **Details** section, click **Edit**. 3. Make the desired edits. 4. Click **Save**. ### **Deleting a FLOC** To delete a FLOC, do the following: 1. Go to the FLOC Details Page. 2. In the **Details** section, click **Edit**. 3. Clear the **Active** checkbox to make the FLOC Inactive. 4. Click **Save**. > [!NOTE] > Note > > You can now see the **Delete** button in the Details section. If it does not show, refresh the page. 1. Click **Delete**. 2. Review the details on the pop-up screen and click **OK** (or **Cancel**). > [!NOTE] > Note > > Before deleting a FLOC, you may need to remove an Explicit object. You will see a pop-up message stating that the deletion of the FLOC was successful. ## Narrative The **Narrative** section allows users to provide a long description of the FLOC. In the Edit mode, the Narrative section is shown as a Rich Text field with several features. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/RCM_narrative.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T21%3A55%3A06Z&se=2026-10-28T22%3A55%3A06Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=t8PhDAQceBv6l3Q8hojA8jnK204PLcAoko1RLcWhr9Q%3D) You can add Rich Text Defaults in this section. For more information on Rich Text Defaults, see [IMS Details Page](/v410/docs/ims-details-page-options#rich-text-default). ## Schedule You can switch between the Schedule, Recommended Tasks, and Change / Deferral tabs, depending on the information you need. The **Schedules** tab lists all existing schedules and allows you to add new schedules. For additional information see [RCM Schedules](/v410/docs/rcm-schedules-1). The **Recommended Tasks** tab lists tasks used to effectively reduce the probability of negative effects caused by equipment failure. The **Change / Deferral** tab lists the existing change and deferral requests. For additional information see [RCM Changes and Deferrals](/v410/docs/rcm-changes-and-deferrals). ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/RCM_schedule_tab.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T21%3A55%3A06Z&se=2026-10-28T22%3A55%3A06Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=t8PhDAQceBv6l3Q8hojA8jnK204PLcAoko1RLcWhr9Q%3D) ## Condition History The **Condition History** section lists (and allows users to add) the Equipment Condition History (ECHs) or records of all the information obtained during inspections. All significant events in the life of a piece of Equipment should be recorded with an ECH. Once an ECH is written, it becomes a permanent record. For more information, see [RCM Equipment Condition Histories](/v410/docs/rcm-equipment-condition-histories). ## RCM Analysis The **RCM Analysis** section lists all the Failure Modes assigned to the FLOC. You can add new Failure Modes, assign them to a Strategy, and delete or export Failure Modes. Learn more in [Starting an RCM Analysis](/v410/docs/starting-an-rcm-analysis). ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/RCM_analysis.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T21%3A55%3A06Z&se=2026-10-28T22%3A55%3A06Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=t8PhDAQceBv6l3Q8hojA8jnK204PLcAoko1RLcWhr9Q%3D) ## Hierarchy The **Hierarchy** grid shows the information on all the pieces of Equipment assigned to the FLOC and their child objects. It shows 13 additional columns next to **Equipment ID**, **Type**, and **Install Date**. You can assess integrity status, risk exposure, RCM progress, and outstanding tasks across a set of equipment items without opening each item in a separate tab. The following columns are available: - Description. - Perform RCM. - #FMs (number of Failure Modes per Equipment). - #Tasks (number of tasks per Equipment). - Base risk. - Residual risk. - Total Annual POC ($k/yr). - AC (Analysis Completeness). - #BA (number of Bad Actors per Equipment). - Labels. - RSL Status. - RSL. - Due date. ![Equipment hierarchy table showing pump-floc unit with maintenance, risk, and performance details.](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/FLOC_hierarchy.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T21%3A55%3A06Z&se=2026-10-28T22%3A55%3A06Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=t8PhDAQceBv6l3Q8hojA8jnK204PLcAoko1RLcWhr9Q%3D) Keep the following in mind when you use the columns: - The values are read-only. To change a value, open the equipment item. - Each column shows the current saved value, the same as in the equipment detail view. - If an equipment item has no value for a field, the cell is blank. - When you create a new equipment record with the New Equipment button or from the equipment grid, the columns show its values immediately. - Expanding and collapsing parent and child nodes works as before. - The column set is fixed. You cannot add, remove, or reorder these columns. - The Hierarchy section stays responsive in hierarchies with a large number of equipment items. > [!NOTE] > Note > > To learn more about the Equipment records, see [RCM Equipment Main Screen](/v410/docs/rcm-equipment-main-screen#default-equipment-record). ## Specs The **Specs** section provides a place to record important operation parameters for the FLOC. Most Specs are implemented for each Equipment group on the Equipment Details Page. The available Specs depend on the FLOC's Location Type (for example, PUMP-FLOC). The specs listed in this Specs section can in a later stage be inherited by the Equipment, Components and Circuits if the spec is available for these objects.
