# Adding Notes to DMs and Barriers

To add notes to a DM or Barrier in the CL:

- Open the CL Details Page (see [IMS Details Page](/v414/docs/ims-details-page-options)) and go to the Degradation Management section.

- By default, you can edit the most recent DM note, else select an older note to Edit.

- If you want to add a note, click the **+**.

Note: By default, the most recent note is pinned to the board and is shown in the Notes column. Use the pin icon to pin a different note to the board. To see all notes, click **Show all**.
