# Adding SIF Analyses to LOPAs

## Adding a New SIF Analysis

To add a new SIF Analysis:

- Click **Add New SIF Analysis**.
- Fill in the details. See [Starting New SIF Analyses](/v414/docs/starting-new-sif-analyses).

## Adding an existing SIF Analysis

To add an existing SIF Analysis:

- Click **Add Existing SIF Analysis**.

## Changing a Barrier to a SIF Analysis

To change a Barrier to a SIF Analysis:

- Select the Barrier and click the fold-out bar to open the Barrier Properties.
- For the Category, select “SIF Analysis”.
- Now you can again click **Add New SIF Analysis** or **Add Existing SIF Analysis**.
