# Assigning Tests to Equipment Schedules

When the SIF design is [Approved](/v414/docs/approving-the-sif-design), the selected Tests (with their Test intervals) must be assigned to the associated Equipment’s Schedules to ensure the SIF achieve the Target PFD. This is typically not a task for the SIF designer.
