# CAPS2025 Generating Reports

Reports can be generated from the [Main Screen](/v414/docs/caps2025-main-screens) toolbar, or from a [Details Page](/v414/docs/caps2025-details-pages).

## Generating Reports from Main Screens

To generate an online report from a Main Screen Toolbar:

- Go to the applicable [Main Screen](/v414/docs/caps2025-main-screens).
- Select the Units that the report must show, with the scoping bar.
- Select other key parameters, with the filter. Note: Each Main Screen has different key parameters that can be filtered or used for the report. For more information on using filters see [CAPS2025 Main Screens](/v414/docs/caps2025-main-screens).

- Select one or more rows in the grid (in the figure below two rows were selected).

- Select the sections to be included.
- Click the appropriate button to either generate the document as a PFD file, a MS Word document, or directly send the report to the (local) printer.

## Generating Reports from Details Pages

### 

To Generate an online Report from a [Details Page](/v414/docs/caps2025-details-pages) (if applicable):

- Go to the applicable Detail Page.
- Click the *report* button in the header of the Detail Pages.

- Select the output method, i.e. click **Generate as PDF**, or **Generate as Word**, or **Print**.
