# PEI Civil Software Overview

This online manual refers to the PEI (Civil) module in IMS.

To start:

- First include Civil in the PEI module by ticking **Include CIVIL**. Note; if unchecked, Civil Equipment will be excluded from the PEI module.
- For simplicity, untick **Include PEI** so that **PEI (Only CIVIL)** show.

When PEI is not included, items that are not applicable to CIVIL do not show, e.g. Circuits and Corrosion Loops. (When PEI is also included, it shows **PEI (with CIVIL)**.)

## The RBI Analysis Tab

Each row in the lowest section of the RBI Analysis tab window represents a Component - DM combination. The active row of the main window is highlighted in blue.

### Grid Columns

The Grid columns present the following data:

- Status
- Type
- Review
- Equipment
- Components
- Schedule ID
- Name
- Material
- Degradation Mechanism (DM) Name
- Unit
- Stf: Susceptibility to Failure
- Asset: Economic Consequence score
- People: Health & Safety Consequence score
- Env: Environment Consequence score
- Cri: Criticality rating
- Q1: Confidence question 1
- Q2: Confidence question 2
- Q3: Confidence question 3
- Q4: Confidence question 4
- Con: Confidence Rating
- RL (year): Remnant life in years
- IF: Interval Factor
- MII (year): Maximum Inspection Interval
- LII (year): Legal Local Interval
- NID: Next Inspection Date
- Add to scope
- Add NDE

The following buttons are available in the RBI Analysis tab toolbar.
