For example; | **Section** | **Screenshot** | | --- | --- | | CML main grid (Header bar) | ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/Screenshot_532.jpg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A24%3A31Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A24%3A31Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=yPGrO%2FxI9z3LLq7XJ85DCf1NK6EGW471QYzfANDbpp8%3D) | | Circuit main grid (Side info bar) | ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/Screenshot_533.jpg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A24%3A31Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A24%3A31Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=yPGrO%2FxI9z3LLq7XJ85DCf1NK6EGW471QYzfANDbpp8%3D) | | Circuit details (CML Tab) | ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/Screenshot_534.jpg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A24%3A31Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A24%3A31Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=yPGrO%2FxI9z3LLq7XJ85DCf1NK6EGW471QYzfANDbpp8%3D) | To create a CML: - Click *Plus* to create a new CML. - Enter the required data in the pop-up window. See the table below. - Click **Save** when done. The new CML will be created and you will be redirected to its [Details page](/v414/docs/pei-condition-measurement-locations-cmls-details-screen). Note: You can open a CML Details Page at any time by clicking on the hyperlink in the CML column on the **CML** tab in the Circuit Details Page. CML Popup fields: | Field /Column | Description | | --- | --- | | Circuit | The name of the Circuit that the CML is part of. | | Sub Circuit | Sub-Group of the Circuit, for grouping similar CMLs within a Sub-Circuit. The Sub-Circuit-CML combination should be unique. If you do not want to group CMLs, you can use this as a short description. It is a mandatory field. | | CML | The CML ID, click on it to open the CML Details Page. The Active flag shows for each Circuit whether it is active or inactive: ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-circuits---main-screen-image-a4ibn9gs.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A24%3A31Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A24%3A31Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=yPGrO%2FxI9z3LLq7XJ85DCf1NK6EGW471QYzfANDbpp8%3D) Active Circuit ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/pei-circuits---main-screen-image-2is0e3mq.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A24%3A31Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A24%3A31Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=yPGrO%2FxI9z3LLq7XJ85DCf1NK6EGW471QYzfANDbpp8%3D) Inactive Circuit | | CML Description | Short Description for the selected CML. | | CML Type | Type of CML (e.g., PIPE, HEADER BOX, REDUCER, TEE, SHELL, CHANNEL, NOZZLE). | | Must get | Check if this CML must always be measured. | | Position | Position of the CML in the Circuit. | | MP Configuration | The Measurement Point Configuration field will be available only if MP Configurations have been defined for the selected CML Type in the Settings. | | Nominal WT | Nominal Wall Thickness for the CML. | | Diameter | Nominal Diameter for the CML. | | Renewal Thickness | Minimum Wall Thickness (WT) for the selected CML. | | Renewal Basis | Renewal basis, either CALCULATED, FITNESS FOR SERVICE, NOMINAL MINUS CORR ALLOWANCE, STRUCTURAL MIN. | | Required Inspection Method | Option to set a required Inspection Method (e.g. UT, RT) for all measurements for the CML (optional). | | Design Corrosion Allowance | Design Corrosion Allowance | | Drawing Filename | Name of the related drawing file. | | Line number on drawing | Line number on drawing. | | Line number in P&ID | Line number in P&ID. | | Sketch number | Sketch number. | | Longitude | Longitude | | Latitude | Latitude | | Altitude | Altitude | The data you entered while creating a new CML will be displayed on the [CML Details Page](/v414/docs/pei-condition-measurement-locations-cmls-details-screen). If you need to create a CML with more than one Diameter, see [Creating Multidiameter CMLs](/v414/docs/creating-multidiameter-cmls).
