They are often linked to [Barriers](https://portal.document360.io/v2024-3/docs/plss-degradation-barrier-menu). Preventive Schedules are [Created](https://portal.document360.io/v2024-3/docs/creating-schedules-inspection-cair-and-rbi-re-assessment), [Defined](https://portal.document360.io/v2024-3/docs/defining-inspection-schedules), and [Approved](https://portal.document360.io/v2024-3/docs/approving-editing-and-extending-schedules), they can also be [linked to an Event](https://portal.document360.io/v2024-3/docs/tying-schedules-to-upcoming-events), and marked for [WOP](https://portal.document360.io/v2024-3/docs/waiting-on-paperwork), in the same way as Inspection Schedules. Lastly, they must also, just as with Inspection Schedules, be credited in the [ECH](https://portal.document360.io/v2024-3/docs/pei-equipment-condition-history-ech). See [Defining Inspection Schedules](https://portal.document360.io/v2024-3/docs/defining-inspection-schedules) for more.
