# Hazard and Effect Register Tab

These predefined Hazards (and their associated risks) are used in the Consequences where Top events with Hazards enabled, are selected. ## Defining Hazards in the register

Users with the SIS Admin and SIS HAZOP role can also edit, add, remove or duplicate Hazards in this register. Take note that changes made here are applied to all HAZOPs in the applicable Sites / Plants / Units.

In [Settings \ Maintenance \ SIS Specific data \ HAZOP \ Top event](/v414/docs/top-events) the SIS Admin user can list your Site’s Top Events and define which require a Hazard.

## Exporting the register

To export the register:

- Click the *export* button.
