All product specific enhancements are described in the dedicated product Release Notes. --- ## Weekly Interval Recurrence Added to Schedules Previously, when configuring a recurring Schedule, only the User Interval in months could be entered, including decimal values. Now, it is possible to specify the User Time Interval in weeks as well. The system will automatically convert weekly intervals into equivalent months (for example, 6 weeks will be converted to 1.38 months). This enhancement is reflected on both the Schedule Details page and the Schedules Main Screen. By default, the Time Interval column on the Schedules Main Screen is hidden and must be enabled through the toolbar to become visible. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/User interval weeks.gif?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A20%3A40Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A20%3A40Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=aYwez1mwuPpuny%2BnBGmNgys%2B88wrN36BucBak9c24xg%3D) Click on the word months to change it to weeks. > [!NOTE] > User Instructions > > Learn more about Creating Schedules and setting up User Interval in: [Creating Schedules](/v414/docs/creating-schedules-inspection-cair-and-rbi-re-assessment#schedule-properties). > > To see how to add columns to the Schedule Main Screen (Grid View), see: [Configuring grids](/v414/docs/basic-navigation-other-main-menu-options#configuring-grids). ## Inspection Locations Available in all Modules IMS now allows you to add Inspection Locations, which are specific points on Equipment where inspections are carried out, in all modules. This functionality was previously limited to PLSS but is now also available in PEI and RCM. This makes it easier to keep track of exactly where Inspections happen on your Equipment. To add Inspection Locations to Equipment, ensure that the corresponding Equipment Group has the Inspection Locations setting enabled under Settings \ Maintenance \ Configuration \ Configuration per Hierarchy Type and Inspection Location Types defined. Users with the CSA, Admin RCM and ADMIN PEI roles can enable inspection Locations per Equipment group and add inspection Location Types. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/Screenshot_591.jpg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A20%3A40Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A20%3A40Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=aYwez1mwuPpuny%2BnBGmNgys%2B88wrN36BucBak9c24xg%3D) The Business Logic column now displays "Enable Inspection Location" when this feature is active for an Equipment Group. For Equipment Groups where Inspection Location Types have been configured, the Equipment Details page includes an Inspection Locations section, where you can create and maintain Inspection Locations for the Equipment. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/Screenshot_593.jpg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A20%3A40Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A20%3A40Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=aYwez1mwuPpuny%2BnBGmNgys%2B88wrN36BucBak9c24xg%3D) Bulk import of Inspection Locations is now supported, along with the Import for Export feature. > [!NOTE] > User Instructions > > To learn how to enable Inspection Locations within an Equipment Group and configure Inspection Location Types, please see: [Inspection Locations](/v414/docs/hierarchy-type-configuration-in-setting#inspection-locations). > > For more information on how to add Inspection Locations to Equipment, see: [PEI Equipment - Details Page](/v414/docs/pei-equipment-details-page#inspection-locations). > > Find out more about Bulk import and Import for Export here: [Importing Data via Settings](/v414/docs/importing-data-via-settings#importing-data) and [Exporting Grid Information](/v414/docs/exporting-information). ## Post-Approval ECH Narrative Appending Enabled You can now append Narratives to Final Approved Condition Histories without reverting them to Draft. In the Condition History Details page, an *Append* button was added to the Narrative section. This lets you add new Narratives below the existing ones, with automatic display of the date and author for each appended entry. Editing Narratives remains possible but requires reverting the related Condition History status to “DRAFT”. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/Screenshot_597.jpg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A20%3A40Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A20%3A40Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=aYwez1mwuPpuny%2BnBGmNgys%2B88wrN36BucBak9c24xg%3D) > [!NOTE] > User Instructions > > To learn more about configuring Narrative editing and appending options, see: [Application Settings](https://ims-handbook.cenosco.com/v414/docs/application-settings#ech-edit-setting). > > For more information on editing or appending Narratives to Condition Histories, see: [Editing / Appending Narratives](/v414/docs/step-e-writing-narratives#editing-appending-narratives). ## Source of Schedules Added On a Schedule Details page, you can now see the ECH from which a Schedule was created, as well as the recurring Schedule that preceded the current one. For that reason, two new read-only fields have been added to the Schedule Details Page: - Created from: displays the original ECH used to create the Schedule. - Previous schedule: shows the recurring Schedule that led to the current one. Clicking on the values of these two fields will navigate you directly to the associated ECH or Schedule Details page. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/ff1ff54b-8449-4758-8970-918b4b4309b1.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A20%3A40Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A20%3A40Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=aYwez1mwuPpuny%2BnBGmNgys%2B88wrN36BucBak9c24xg%3D) These fields are also available as hidden columns in the Schedule Main Screen (Grid View) and can be enabled via the Main Grid’s Toolbar. > [!NOTE] > User Instructions > > To learn more about Schedule Details, see: [Schedule Details](/v414/docs/defining-inspection-schedules#schedule-details). > > For information on creating Schedules from ECHs, see: [Creating Schedules from ECHs](/v414/docs/step-f-viewing-and-creating-new-schedules-cairs-from-ech#creating-schedules-from-echs). > > To find out how to display hidden columns on the Main Screens, see: [Configuring grids](/v414/docs/basic-navigation-other-main-menu-options#configuring-grids). ## Drawings and Documents Improvements ### Automatic and Manual CML Mapping Improvements With this Release, IMS brings improvements to the CML mapping capabilities in IMS. IMS makes it easy to map DXF objects to IMS objects such as FLOCs, Equipment, Circuits, and CMLs in Settings / Maintenance / Common Data / DXF Configuration. With the current Release, when the DXF Configuration has been changed, CML Mapping is automatically triggered when a Drawing is modified, updated, or upon download. For existing Drawings, you can now manually remap them individually or in bulk by selecting them on the Drawings Main Grid and clicking the new **Map** button in the toolbar. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/image-19HMK3A5.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A20%3A40Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A20%3A40Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=aYwez1mwuPpuny%2BnBGmNgys%2B88wrN36BucBak9c24xg%3D) Click the **Map** button to map selected Drawings to an Entity based on Drawing Configuration. > [!NOTE] > User Instructions > > To learn more about uploading and managing Drawings, see: [Uploading Drawings and Documents](/v414/docs/uploading-drawings-and-documents-via-settings). ### Improved Hierarchy View for Drawings The improved Mapping section on the Drawing Details page now allows you to Assign FLOCs and Equipment to a Drawing, so that the Drawings will be available on the FLOC and Equipment Details Pages. The updated section now displays a clear hierarchy of all objects mapped to a Drawing, including FLOCs, Equipment, Circuits and CMLs. When a CML exists on the open Drawing, any mapped CMLs will be tagged with at *Mapped to CAD Object* label. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e492a0e0-a4ba-4aca-8fc6-76b95f91fdf3/Images/Documentation/image-NHUNKWBS.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A20%3A40Z&se=2026-10-28T15%3A20%3A40Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=aYwez1mwuPpuny%2BnBGmNgys%2B88wrN36BucBak9c24xg%3D) Mapped Objects Hierarchy View. > [!NOTE] > User Instructions > > To learn more about using and managing Drawings in IMS, see: [Drawings - Overview](/v414/docs/drawings-overview). ## Schedule Creation Enabled for Discipline Inspector Role Users with the Discipline Inspector role can now create and credit Schedules.
