# IMS4Field Mobile App

IMS4Field runs in your device's web browser, so you do not need to download a dedicated app. To make it behave like a native app, add it to your device's home screen. This article describes how to do that on Apple iOS devices, Android devices, and other devices with a web browser. The recommended system requirements are the same as for opening IMS4Field in your device's web browser. For details, see [Accessing IMS4Field](/v414/docs/accessing-ims4field). ## Adding IMS4Field App to Your Mobile Device

First, open your device's web browser and go to the URL provided to you (for example, https://ims4field.yourcompany.com/). Then follow the steps for your type of device.

### Adding IMS4Field App to an Apple iOS Device

To add the IMS4Field to the home screen of your Apple iOS device, open IMS4Field in Safari:

1. Click the *Share* button.

1. Scroll down and click **Add to Home Screen**.

1. Click **Add**.

The IMS4Field App is now be available on your Home Screen.

### Adding IMS4Field to an Android Device

After you open the URL, you should get a notification to install IMS4Field. To add IMS4Field to your Android device:

1. In the notification, click **Install**.

1. Click **Install** once more.

You will receive a notification that the IMS4Field App has been installed, and it will now be available on your device.

### Adding IMS4Field to other devices with a web browser

To add an IMS4Field shortcut to your desktop or home screen directly from the browser, select the *Download* button in your browser. This works on computers as well as mobile devices, although you will most often do it on a mobile device such as a tablet or smartphone.

This creates a shortcut to IMS4Field on the desktop or home screen.
