# Linking Circuits to CLs

If a Component is linked to a Circuit (i.e. set to inherit the Circuit information), that Circuit will automatically also be linked to the Component’s CL (see [Relationship between CLs, Components and Circuits](/v414/docs/relationship-between-cls-components-and-circuits) ).

It is also possible to link a Circuits directly to a CL.
