October 2022
Version 2022.3 brings improvements in terms of a new look for the grids and improved filters, Schedule, IOWs, Dynamic Fomes, 3D Observations, etc.
New look of grids and filter improvements
New look of grids
IMS is continuously improving user experience and with this version grids got a major update. All grids in IMS look a bit more modern and provide more options. Improved look enables better data consumption with alternating lighter and darker colored rows. Selected rows are also highlighted with a light blue.
New column filters
The filter has also become more accessible. When users hover with their mouse over a header, the filter and sorting options will show. The up / down arrows sort the list ascending / descending, while the filter button opens an advanced query window.
For the below example, one can use the NID Desc column's query to filter for Equipment with a "Thinning" Schedule coming up next.

This advanced querying allows filtering on all columns. Options like "equals", "starts with", "contains", "not contains", etc. are available. For dates and numeric fields, a range or other relevant options will also be enabled. In this way it is also possible to show for example which items do not have a label for instance.

When the query is built, users can click Run without saving and the grid will be filtered. They can also save the query by clicking the Save button.

Improved Range Filters with predefined options
Date range filters are now more user-friendly with regards to the available dates to choose from. This is applicable both for dashboards and grids. All date-range filters now offer predefined options such as:
- Current: Today, This week, This Month, This quarter, This Year, Year to date...
- Past: Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 14 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Last Year...
- Future: Next week, Next 7 days, Next 14 days, Next Month, Next quarter, Next year...

Filtering Checklists by answers
The new "Checklist by fields" filter, in the Condition History Main Screen grid, makes assessing Checklist results easier. This filter will show users a 3-step approach to build a Query:
- Select a Checklist (AND).
- Select a question (AND).
- Select an answer (OR).
When users start typing the Checklist name, IMS will gives auto-suggestions for the Checklist name. Users can then select the Checklist, and IMS will provide all available questions in the Checklist. Users can then type and select the question, and then the available answers. Available answers depend on the available options in the Checklist (if there is no question with a certain answer, that answer is not shown). The answer field also supports multiple answers, meaning that it is possible to query a question with two different answers.

Filtering Checklists by Stage status
In a similar way as described above, Condition Histories can now also be filtered by the Checklist stage status. Stage statuses are the indicators per stage. Stages can have the following statuses:
- Not started - No question answered for the stage (colored in yellow).
- In progress - At least one question is answered for the stage (colored in yellow).
- Completed - Al questions are answered for the stage (colored in green).
- Set as completed - Not all questions answered, the stage was set as done.
- Not applicable - Stage is not applicable for the specific Condition History.
In order to filter Condition Histories by the stage status, users can open the "Checklist Stages" filter. The filter will show users a 3-step approach to build a Query:
- Checklist name (AND).
- Stage name (AND).
- Status (OR).
When a Checklist is selected, IMS will show only stages applicable to the selected Checklist. After selecting a stage, available statuses are shown as an option. The "Status" field is an "OR" meaning that multiple options can be selected.
.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A20%3A54Z&se=2026-10-28T14%3A47%3A54Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=izPE1cfgGDnYY5n30uihHfFOFWnmzUST8fI5Fng4RBw%3D)
Filtering Equipment and FLOCs by Specs
In a similar way as described above, it is now possible to filter Equipment specs. The "Equipment Specs" filter allows users to filter the Equipment by any spec, filled in for the Equipment. The Query is built in 3 steps, by defining:
- Spec (name of the spec).
- Qualifier.
- Value.
For example, in this way it is possible to filter all Equipment that have "carbon steel" for a base material.

Schedule and ECH related Improvements
Classifying Schedules and ECHs by Discipline
The below disciplines are supported in IMS:
| Discipline | Roles |
| Civil | Civil roles |
| Electrical | Discipline inspector, RCM Roles |
| Fabric Maintenance | Fabric maintenance roles |
| Flange Management | FCM roles |
| Instrumentation | Discipline inspector, RCM Roles |
| Maintenance | RCM Roles |
| Mechanical rotating | Discipline inspector, RCM Roles |
| Operations | Discipline inspector, RCM Roles |
| Pipeline and Subsea | PLSS Roles |
| Pressure Equipment | PEI Roles |
| RCM | RCM Roles |
| Turnaround | Discipline inspector, TAT Roles |
| Wells | Discipline inspector, RCM Roles |
| Process technologist | TAT Roles |
For users with multiple roles, a primary Discipline can be selected.
The Users Roles will determine which disciplines are available to select from, for the primary discipline. This primary discipline will then be preselected for the user where applicable. Additionally, IMS will remember which discipline was used last time and then preselect this discipline when a Condition History or a Schedule is created.
The new discipline field is also available on Schedule and Condition History Main Screen grid (and as a filter). If there is a need for multiple departments or disciplines to use IMS, this field can then be used to separate the Schedules and Condition Histories.
Waterfall Dashboard for Schedules

The configuration can be changed in terms of Start Date and End Date. It can also be scoped to show only CAIRs or inspection Schedules. Once configured, the element shows the following information:
- Start count in black - Number of (uncredited) Schedules at the start date.
- End count in black - Number of (uncredited) Schedules still open at the end date.
- Newly created Schedules in red - For each month, the number of addition Schedules created, increasing the scope of work.
- Credited Schedules in green - For each month, the number of Schedules closed, reducing number of still open Schedules.

Easy access to Schedules and Checklists (for multiple Equipment)

The simple view shows all Schedules on the left. For the selected Schedule, it shows more detail information on the right group in different tabs:
- Information about the Equipment (details and specs).
- Checklist from the Condition History.
- Narrative from the Condition History.
- Attachments from the Condition history.
- Approval from the Condition History.
If there is no Condition History for a selected Schedule, IMS will show a button for the quick creation of a Condition History and crediting of the selected Schedule. Once the Condition History is available, users can start filling in the Checklist, Narrative and Attachments just as they would normally do in a Condition History. At the end, they can also approve it. The results can be viewed in the regular a Condition History Details Pages as well.
Drawing Annotations for Schedules
The Drawing Annotation feature is now also available for Schedules. Like with Condition Histories, the Drawing Annotation feature enables users to take snapshots of Drawings and Documents, linked to a Schedule Details Page, and enables users to edit both the snapshots and originals.

When a Drawing is opened, 2 new buttons will show on the Drawing screen:
- A camera icon in the bottom left – to take a snapshot; and
- A writing icon in the bottom right of the screen – to toggle the annotate controls.

The left “Take a snapshot” button will produce a snapshot of the current Drawing and allow further editing, without making changes to the original Drawing. Users can use the bottom right buttons to add, edit and remove annotations to the snapshot. When done, the Drawing can be saved with the Save button (top right). The saved snapshot will be visible in the Attachments section, below the Drawings and Documents section, on the Schedule Details Page.

The right “Toggle annotate controls” button will allow users to edit the original Drawing. When the button is clicked, users will see a similar menu as when annotating snapshots. By clicking Done in the top right corner, the current annotations on the edited Drawing will be saved.
Indicator Editor
The Indicator list can be opened from the dropdown in the Custom Reports Main Screen. From here the Indicator Editor can also be accessed. The Indicator grid gives a list of all available Indicators.

Several filters are available:
- Barriers with range filter,
- Active/Inactive barrier,
- Barrier group, and
- Indicator type.

When the Indicator Name hyperlink is clicked, the Indicator editor will open. On the left, all available Barrier Types are listed. On the right a detail screen of selected Indicator is displayed.

In the FOR DEGRADATION MECHANISMS section, users can select one or more DMs from the list. The Indicator will apply only for these DMs.

The INDICATOR DEFINITIONS section contains definition fields, which are used to create the conditions.

The last section is INDICATOR CONDITIONS. This is where rules are defined for every available color. Rules are created using aliases from the INDICATOR DEFINITION section and logical operators.

IOW Improvements
New IOW Dashboard

Interactive IOW Exceedance Range
Users can now drag and drop the range for IOW Exceedances.
IOW Grid Search Improvement
New options are now available when searching in the IOW main grid.

The PI Exceedances charts rendering was improved. Date is now loaded "on scroll" when an IOW has a many exceedances.

IOW Analyze "From Date" Extended
Previously, in the IOW Analyze tab, the minimum From Date allowed was the Current Date - 3 months. This limitation has been removed and users can now select any From Date.
Dynamic Forms Improvements
Creating Dashboards from Checklists

The newly created Dashboard will show information about Condition Histories that are using the form. More specifically:
1. How many Condition Histories are in draft (To Do).
2. How many Condition Histories need to be reviewed (Writer Approved or Level 1 Approved).
3. How many of Condition Histories are done (Final Approved).
4. How many issues has been detected with the Checklist.
5. How many Condition Histories have been created in last 30 days.
6. How many Condition Histories have been created this year.
7. In which status every Condition History is in.
8. What are the applicable Equipment Groups.
9. How many Condition Histories are created per month.
10. What is the status of every stage of the Condition History.
The new Dashboard will be available in the Dashboard Screen together with all other Dashboards. Additional changes are possible after the initial Dashboard has been created.

Generating Import files from Checklists

The import can be performed in the Settings\Data Transfer\Import Data. Here users need to select the Custom import tab.

Shared Repository under Dynamic Forms
The Shared Repository is now available in Custom Reports\Dynamic Forms. From here users can open, review and (if interested) save Dynamic Forms as their own.

Dynamic Forms "All Acceptable" button
The Dynamic Forms now have auto fill implemented. This means when a user chooses the "All Acceptable" button, the current date, company name, user name, and signature will automatically be filled in.

Dynamic Form "DONE?" button renamed
In Dynamic Forms, the "Done?" button was renamed to "Mark stage as complete".
Showing the Stage and Question names for findings

Default values in Checklists
A default value can be defined for a field. When a default value is defined, the field will be prefilled with this value when the Checklist is first opened. Default value can be removed or changed. When a field is a dropdown list, users can select an option from the option list as a default value.

Limiting decimal places
The number of decimal places can now be defined for a field.

Managing validations in Forms
Validation rules are shown on the selected stage or field in the Checklist on the right side.
For example, in this case, a warning is show when a stage is blank (when it is not applicable).A list of all the validation rules on a Checklist is available on the Logic tab.
Driving recommendation for a finding
ECH Status
1. To do - When Checklist is selected.
2. Stage name - For every Stage in the Checklist, when a question is answered, the Checklist status is updated to that Stage name.
3. Checklist done - When all questions are answered on the last Stage.
4. To Review - When the Condition History is in "WRITER APPROVED" or "LEVEL 1 APPROVED" status.
5. Done - When the Condition History is in "FINAL APPROVAL" status.
This information is available in the Main Screen grid and as a filter.
Linking 3D models to Dynamic Forms
ECHs with 3D models now have the ability to map Issues and Observations to the model.

Pasting Attachments in Observations
When in the Observations screen, users can now click on the text box and use <Ctrl>+<v> to paste a copied image. The image will then be pasted as an attachment.

3D Observation
Observation Scan
This feature allows users to import site scanning results by selecting the context capture (xml) file directly from the Azure Storage blob. Results are then presented in the Observation Scan Main Screen in a folder tree structure.

The folder structure is taken directly from the connected Azure Storage blob. The last nodes in the folder structure contain resulting images from the scan.
From the Observation Scan main grid, users can run Machine Vision on the selected folders/tags to obtain annotations for the corresponding images.
By clicking on the folder name, the Image gallery for the selection will be opened. In the image gallery, users can review images by modifying/deleting the existing annotations, adding missing annotations or skipping the entire image.

When the images are reviewed, users can trigger 3D localization.

Note: AIR 3D features are only available when they are turned on through the application and user settings.

3D Localization (2D to 3D)
This feature allows users to calculate 3D locations from 2D annotations on the images. From here users can review images aligned with the pointcloud and trigger the 3D locations calculation.

When 3D locations are calculated, users can review and modify them by dragging the box that represents the 3D location to the correct position, if necessary.

Once the 3D locations are reviewed, users can click on the Resolve button to resolve the project and switch to the standard 3D Observation project where all observation items can be reviewed and ECH (Equipment Condition History) creation can be triggered.

Take note that AIR 3D features are only available when they are turned on through the application and user settings.

3D QA Tools
The new QA tools allow users to analyze 3D model quality for best alignment with IMS data.

Mapped Geometry Report
This tool allows users to make a list of mapped FLOCs. By selection a specific row, the FLOC geometry is highlighted in 3D view and possible issues (sub-FLOCs, different pipe diameters, short pipes ...) are colored.

Unmapped Geometry Report
This tool allows users to make a list of unmapped geometry, grouped by parent node in model hierarchy. By selection a specific row, the node geometry is highlighted in the 3D view. With this tool (using filtering and sorting functionality) the reason for "not-mapping“ the geometry in the model can be quickly detected.

Clash Report
This tool allows the user to display pairs of 3D objects that are in collision. Collision data must be imported from a NavisWorks model. By selection a specific row, objects in a collision are highlighted in the 3D view.

3D Mapping Report
This tool allows the user to create a 3D mapping report for all objects on site, filtered by the breadcrumbs filters. There is also the option to create a report based on an uploaded file with FLOC-names.

3D Model State Dashboard
This dashboard is a summary of the 3D mapping report, based on plant (factory) level. Depending on the percentage of matched FLOCs and unresolved issues, a quality grade is calculated for each plant.
Other Improvements
Notes in Schedule cost

Bulk User Account Creation
The bulk import for Users is now available for all IMS modules.

Equipment Count added in Change/Deferral grid
To help count the number of Equipment in each request, a # Equipment column was added to the Change/ Deferral Main Screen grid.
.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A20%3A54Z&se=2026-10-28T14%3A47%3A54Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=izPE1cfgGDnYY5n30uihHfFOFWnmzUST8fI5Fng4RBw%3D)
"Action Items" Available for Dashboards
"Action Items" is now available as a source for Dashboard. It shows all items, but filtered by the methodology.

CMMS Improvements
GSAP Interface Improvements
Coming soon...
SAP Dashboard - Misaligned Improvements
The SAP Dashboard's Misaligned section now shows a warning when the "DoNotUpdateDesription" setting is on and emphasizes that this is preventing the interface from updating equipment descriptions.

HEMP and Criticality Codes Query
When the “Enable new ABC Indicator criticality” Application Setting is enabled, the RCM/PEI Floc and Equipment Main Screen grids and Details Pages change as follows: The columns HEMP and Criticality Codes are replaced with ABCIndicator. Values from the two removed fields are migrated to Equipment/Floc Specs..png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T14%3A20%3A54Z&se=2026-10-28T14%3A47%3A54Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=izPE1cfgGDnYY5n30uihHfFOFWnmzUST8fI5Fng4RBw%3D)
For these values to be available in future the “Equipment with Legacy HEMP and Criticality Codes Specs” Query is introduced. The Query contains the list of Equipment filtered by the current methodology of IMS. It provides basic Equipment information, which includes the link to each individual Equipment and parent Floc, hierarchy, active status, as well as filters for each of these columns.
Additionally it contains the removed “HEMP” and “Criticality Codes” values.
Floc and Equipment URL paths are generated dynamically based on the module that the user is currently in.
