The Piping classes Main screen shows an overview grid, with a list of Piping classes.

Listing Piping Classes (the Overview Grid)

To see the list of registered Piping classes:

  • Go to the CAPS2025 Main Menu.
  • Click Piping Classes to go to the Piping classes main screen.

Click on the Piping classes Main menu, to list all Piping classes. 

  • Use the scoping bar, the filter, or the search functionality to list the desired Piping classes. (For more information see CAPS2025 Main Screens.)

Find Piping classes using the scoping bar / filter / search functionality. 

Default Piping class data in the Piping class record:

Description

Class

ID Name of the Piping Class, click on the ID hyperlink to open the Piping Class details.

Material

Available Material defined in Settings: See CAPS2025 Material.

Rating
Available Ratings defined in Settings: See CAPS2025 Rating
Revision Letter
The associated Revision Letter.
Corrosion allowance
Corrosion allowance in mm.
Revision Date
Date Revised.
Company
Available Companies defined in Settings: See CAPS2025 Companies.
Changed
Date when changed.
Comment
Any comment that was added.
Status
Approval status for the Class

Piping Classes Menu Toolbar

There are several shortcuts or available features that the Piping classes toolbar can be used for. For more information see CAPS2025 Main Screens. 

Filtering Piping classes

From the Piping classes overview page, several filters can be used to drill down the search results for the shown list of Piping classes.

To filter a list:

  • Click on the filter button.
  • Check the filters that you want to use and click Show... , or 
  • Specify the range and click the green arrow.
    Click the filter button and select the desired filters.
