# Step 9 Review RBI 581 Results (in the Results Pane)

The data shown on the RBI 581 Results Pane (on the right) is live (changes with time). In the header (next to the Risk title you can see when it was last updated.

When the [PoF](/v414/docs/rbi-581-probability-of-failure-calculation-external-chloride-scc) and the [CoF](/v414/docs/rbi-581-consequence-of-failure) has been calculated, the **Calculate** button in the Results Pane becomes enabled. You can then click **Calculate**. After running the calculation successfully, IMS displays two notifications:

- Confirmation of the Maximum Inspection Interval (MII) calculation, and
- Confirmation that Future Risk Values and Dates have been generated for each Probability Class, starting from the class corresponding to the component’s installation date (age = 0).

To see how the calculation progresses, click on the *Calculation Progress* button that appears in the top of the screen. The progress will show in a pop-up.

The calculation results can be viewed on the Risk Tab in the [Risk Chart and Table](/v414/docs/rbi-581-risk-matrix#risk-chart-and-table).

## Non-Age-Related and Strategy-based Degradation Mechanism

The Risk Result panel for a NAR or Strategy-based Degradation Mechanism does not display the Max Inspection Interval (MII) as this is only relevant for Age-Related DMs. Additionally, the Current Probability of Failure and Current Risk remain unchanged, since NAR and Strategy-based risk does not vary with age.

The **Calculate** button is also not available for these DMs. The blue lines representing the risk target criteria and the blue "R" is also not shown, as they indicate when risk exceeds a defined target. In the case of NAR and Strategy-based DMs, the risk is static and there is no defined target.
