The required Inspection Effectiveness then in turn determines the required combination of Inspection technique and coverage. *Note: According to API RP 581. These 3 deliverables determine how and when to inspect, i.e., how to verify the Barriers, and should be reviewed and interpreted, before being assigned to an inspection in [Step 12](/v414/docs/step-12-assign-s-rbi-results-to-inspectioncorrosion-schedules-andor-update-monitoring-plan). See [Methodology Step 11](/v414/docs/methodology-step-11) and [Software Step 11](/v414/docs/software-step-11).
