FCM Workflow Summary
The basic workflow in FCM follows the following steps:
Inherit hierarchy (Functional Locations (FLOCs) and Equipment) from IMS PEI (or IMS RCM).
Create Flange Connections to Equipment with Flange-FLOCs. Flange FLOCs are Level 5 FLOCs.
Create Flange and Clamp (Grayloc) Equipment containing:
Tightening data and recommended specification.
Flange integrity calculations.
Schedule.
Create Jobs, which can include Flanges and/or Clamps.
Record your activities in Equipment Condition Histories (ECH).
