Overview

To use the FCM module, you need to have an FCM role assigned in IMS. (This is done in IMS Security Settings). There are six defined FCM Roles in IMS:

  • FCM ADMIN â€“ general rights with FLOC and user control.

  • FCM GENERAL – managing FLOC, Equipment, Jobs and Condition History.

  • FCM PLANNER – creating and managing Jobs and Condition Histories.

  • FCM ENGINEER - editing flange design and performing calculations.

  • FCM FIELD EXECUTION – closing Jobs with Condition Histories.

  • FCM VIEWER – no edit rights, only viewing everything in FCM.

Take Note

Starting in early 2025, users assigned the FCM ENGINEER Role will see significant changes to their permissions. Please see the spreadsheet below for details of the changes.
