Step 3 Start RBI Analysis and Assign DMs to Components: 

Below is explained how to implement Step 3 in the Software. See also Methodology Step 3.

Starting and RBI Analysis and Assigning DMs

To start a new RBI Analysis for a Component and assign DMs:

• Open the Component Details page (see IMS Details Page). 
• Scroll down to the RBI Analyses section.
• Click New Analysis.

Scroll to the RBI Analyses section and click New Analysis to start an RBI Analysis.

 

• In the popup, select one or more of the listed DMs. Only the DMs identified in the Component’s associated CL are listed and available to be assigned (see Step 2). 

• Click Save when done.

Assign DMs to the Component. The list contains all DMs assigned to the Component’s associated CL.

DMs can also be assigned via the Corrosion Loop.

Starting an RBI Analysis when DMs already assigned

To start an RBI Analysis when DMs have already been assigned to the Component:

• Open the Component Details Page (see IMS Details Page).
• Click the RBI assessment icon in the page header; or

Click the RBI icon to start an RBI Analysis.

 

• Alternatively, scroll to the RBI Analysis section and click the applicable DM hyperlink.

If a DM has already been assigned, click the DM hyperlink to go to the RBI assessment.

Adding Additional DMs 

To add additional DMs to a Component being analyzed:

• Click the +/- button on the assessment grid.

To add addition DMs to a Component, click the +/- button on the assessment grid.

 

• In the popup, select one or more of the listed DMs.
• Click Save when done.

Changing Assigned DMs

To change the DM assigned to a Component being analyzed:

• Select the Component – DM combination to be changed.
• Click the change button on the assessment grid.

To change the DM assigned to a Component, click the “change” button on the assessment grid.

 

• Select the new DM.
• Click Save.
