This section of the Handbook describes how to use the 3D Dashboard in IMS.
If a 3D model has been uploaded for your site / plant the 3D Dashboard will enable you to see, analyse, and access your site / plant in a fully scalable model. The Dashboard has many customization options based on your viewing needs.
When you open the 3D Dashboard you will see a menu (1) on the right and the 3D Model (2).
Starting View
The starting view menu can be used in the following ways:
Viewing in Full Screen
To view the model full screen mode click the Toggle full screen button.
Loading Model Areas
By default the Model Browser Menu will be displayed when the 3D Dashboard is loaded. If you wish to examine a specific model area:
Click Load in the Model Browser, or click on an area in the 3D Model.
Your desired model area will be loaded and displayed in the 3D Model.
Filtering
Filters can be used to help with analyzing data in the 3D Model.
To select a filter:
Click the Filter button.
Select an item from the context dropdown. Depending on the selected context, different filters will be presented.
Select the desired filters (for more information on using filters see IMS Main Screen (Grid List) \ Filters).
Default color schemes are assigned to each entity type in 3D Filters. To change color coding, select Color Coding and then select Color Settings.
If you have not yet loaded a model area, the filter results will be shown as counts per model area. You can click any of the model areas to load them in the 3D Dashboard.
If filters are applied when a 3D Model area has already been loaded, the filtered results will be displayed with full opacity in the 3D Dashboard. The remaining components will be transparent.
