Accessing SDx Drawings and Documents

Prev Next

SDx is a document management system used to ensure the efficient and secure execution of projects and operations. We have integrated SDx in IMS for searching and downloading documents, and in the end manipulating them (read, edit, etc.).

Setup SDx in IMS

In the “Application Settings” there is an application key Search SDx Configuration which serves to enable/disable SDx in the IMS. This key also has some parameters for configuring SDx API.

When SDx is enabled, it can be used with Floc and Equipment.

Using SDx with Floc

In the Floc details the field FLOC is automatically prefilled with the Floc name.

The SDx functionality is available in the Drawings and Documents section. The grid has specific columns for SDx: Document number, Title, Revision, Discipline, Classification, and Info map. These columns only show information from SDx. However the column Info map will contain a link, this link directs users to SDx application for the specific document.

Using SDx Equipment

In the Equipment details the field Equipment is automatically prefilled with SAP Equipment number if it exists.

The SDx functionality is available in the Drawings and Documents section. The grid has specific columns for SDx: Document number, Title, Revision, Discipline, Classification, and Info map. These columns only show information from SDx. However the column Info map will contain a link, this link directs users to SDx application for the specific document.
