Maintenance subsections.
The Corrosion Data section of the Settings Menu allows you to see how the Corrosion data is configured. The configurations include maintenance of calculation methods, inspection methods, measurement points, reading requirements and the renewal basis.
Calculation Method
Here the Calculation Methods can be viewed/edited/added/deleted.
Inspection Method
Here the Inspection Methods can be viewed/edited/added/deleted.
An Inspection Method can be specified per CML on the Circuit Details Page, in the CML grid.
The following Inspection Methods has been pre-defined in IMS:
Inspection Method | Description |

ARB | Arbitrary. |
AUT | Automated Ultrasonic. |
B-SCAN | Ultrasonic with Brightness amplitude scan. |
EDDY CURRANT | Eddy Current. An electromagnetic testing method. |
ID/OD | Inner Diameter / Outer Diameter. |
IRIS | Internal Rotary Inspection System. This is an ultrasonic non-destructive testing (NDT) method. |
MAN | Manual Measurement. |
NOM | Nominal Wall Thickness. |
RFEC | Remote Field Eddy Current. |
RT | Radiograph Testing. |
UT | Ultrasonic Testing. |
UT-R | UT (Ultrasonic Testing) with RT (Radiagraph Testing) Validation |
UTS | Ultrasonic Thickness testing. |
UTSA | Ultrasonic Thickness testing - Ax. shear probe width (legacy). |
UTSB | Ultrasonic Thickness testing - Probe width shear 1 min (legacy). |
UTSR | Ultrasonic Thickness testing - Rad. shear probe width (legacy). |
UTSRA | Ultrasonic Thickness testing - Ax/Rad. shear probe width (legacy). |
Measurement Point
Here the Measurement Points can be viewed/edited/added/deleted. A selection of these can then be assigned to a CML Type (see CML Type). Thereafter a MP Configuration (see MP Configuration) can be created for that CML Type by linking the selected MPs to selected Matrix Locations (see Matrix Location).
Reading Requirement
Here the Reading Requirements can be viewed/edited/added/deleted.
Renewal Basis
Here the Renewal Basis categories can be viewed/edited/added/deleted.
