Creating Bowties

Bowties can be created from the from any HAZOP Consequence Hazard.

When a HAZOP has a Hazard the Create Bowtie button will be visible. Hazards with the same name will only have one Bowtie button.

To create a Bowtie:

  • Open the HAZOP Details Page
  • Select the Consequence card.
  • Click on the fold-out bar. 
  • Click on the Create Bowtie button.
    Click the Create Bowtie button.

  • Add a Name and Description.
  • Click Save.

Once a Bowtie is created, the button will indicate that the Hazard has a Bowtie. You can use it to navigate to the Bowtie Details Page.
