Creating New PLSS Equipment

Equipment can be created in Bulk through the Data Import feature in the Settings.

Alternatively, there are several places in the application from where you can add a new piece of Equipment, for example:

To create a new piece of Equipment:

• Click the Plus button.
• Enter the required data in the pop-up window. 

Depending on the selected Equipment group a pop-up window will contain the following tab(s):

• Equipment tab only, for all the Equipment groups except "Pipelines", "Flowlines" and "Pipeline Jumpers".

• Equipment and Design Data tabs for "Pipeline", "Flowline" and "Pipeline Jumper" Equipment groups.

The selection of the Equipment group for the Equipment is based on the FLOC Location Type. The list of FLOC Location Types together with their related Equipment groups see FLOC Location Types and Equipment Groups.
