Defining RBI Re-Assessment Schedules

Article summary

Equipment that has been assessed with RBI, must be re-assessed after at some point, based on the site requirements (e.g., 10 years per API-510/570 and 653). An RBI Re-Assessment can be created at the Equipment level or at the Unit level.

RB Re-Assessment at Equipment level

RBI Re-Assessment on Equipment level are Created, Defined, Approved, can also be linked to an Event, and marked for WOP, in the same way as Inspection Schedules. Lastly, they must also, just as with Inspection Schedules, be credited in the ECH.

The only difference is that here the Plan Codes in the Scope and plan codes section are not applicable.

RB Re-Assessment at Unit level

To create an RBI Re-Assessment at the Unit level:

  • Go to Settings \ Company \ Toplevel.
  • Select the appropriate Unit.
  • Click the Planned Event tab.
  • Click + to add a Planned Event.
Click + to add a RBI Re-Assessment on Unit level.

 

  • In the Planned Event field, use the drop-down to select the “RBI Re-Assessment;
  • For Event Status, select “OPEN”. Note: Closed Events will not be listed in the Toplevel.
  • Also select the Event Date and a Description and click Save;

You can also the Approve and Edit this RBI Re-Assessment on the Unit level from here:

  • Click the Edit button.

  • Then click Edit or Approve when done.

RBI Re-Assessments on Unit level can be Approved or Edited from here.
