Editing and Deleting Task Templates

This overview will explain how to Edit and Delete Task Templates.
Once created, Task Templates can be edited and deleted from the Task Template Editor when needed. All the changes are made through the Task Template Editor. To Edit or Delete the Task Template you will first need to open the Task Template editor.
Editing Task Template Details
To edit Task Template Details:
Navigate to the Details section in the Task Template Editor.
Click Edit.
Change data in the relevant fields.
Click Save.
Deleting a Task Template
A Task Template can be deleted in two ways:
From the Task Templates Main Screen.
From the Task Templates Editor.
To delete a Task template from the Task Templates Main Screen:
Navigate to the Task Templates Main Screen.
Select the Task Template you want to delete.
Click the red Delete button in the toolbar.
A pop-up will ask you to confirm. Review the details and click Delete (or Cancel).
To delete a Task Template from the Task Templates Editor:
Navigate to the Tasks Templates Editor.
In the Task Template Details section, click Delete.
A confirmation notification will instantly appear in the upper right corner of the page, indicating whether the deletion was successful or an error was encountered.
A pop-up will ask you to confirm. Review the details and click Delete (or Cancel).
Editing Task Template Conditions
Existing Condition groups can be edited in the Task Template Editor, from the Applicable When section. To edit an existing Condition group:
Navigate to the Applicable When section in the Task Template Editor.
Click the Down Arrow in the Condition Group field.
In the drop-down menu, select the Condition Group you want to edit. Note: The list of available Condition groups in the drop-down menu depends on the selected Strategy Type in the Details section.
Click the Edit button on the right of the Condition Group field.
Warning
Be careful when you edit Condition Groups as any changes will also impact other Task Templates that utilize the same Condition Group. If you attempt to edit a Condition Group that is already in use, the system will display a warning.
To view where the Condition Group is currently used, click the down arrow. This will open a table listing all Task Templates that include the Condition Group.
To edit the Conditions, add additional Groups and/or Fields as explained above. You can also adjust the logic operators, and delete / switch the logic from "Or" to "AND" by hovering over the logic block and clicking the Delete or Switch buttons.
Editing Task Template Tasks and Subtasks
Tasks and Subtasks previously added to Task Templates can be edited in the Task Template Editor. To edit a Task or Subtask:
Navigate to the Task & Subtask section in the Task Template Editor.
Click the Edit button in the toolbar to enable editing mode.
Once in editing mode, you can make the following changes:
Renaming a Task or Subtask
In the "Task" column, click on the name of the Task or Subtask you wish to rename.
Type the new Name directly into the field.
Replacing a Task or a Subtask
Click on the Name of the Task you want to replace.
Click the Magnifying glass icon next to the Task name.
From the list that appears, either:
Select one of the available Activities, or
Use the Search bar to find a specific Activity.
Click OK to confirm your selection.
Modifying Other Task or Subtask Details
Click on the cell in the column you wish to edit.
Depending on the column:
Type in new information, or
Select an option from the dropdown menu.
Note: Changes are automatically saved as you make them.
Deleting (removing) Tasks and Subtasks from the Task Template
To delete a Task or a Subtask from a Task Template:
Navigate to the Task & Subtask section of the applicable Task Template Editor.
Select the Task or Subtask you want to remove.
Click the Minus button.
A pop-up will ask you to confirm. Review the details and click Delete (or Cancel).
