Editing Dashboards

Editing Section Details

To Edit a Section Details:

  • Click on the three dots in the top of the Section.Graphical user interface, application  Description automatically generated
    To Edit a Section, click on the three dots in the top of the Section.
  • Click Edit.
  • Now you can change the Section’s Name, Description, SOURCE, Available Filters, and Default filters. The Wizard will again guide you through the steps. See Creating New Custom Dashboards.
  • Click Finish when done.

Editing Element Details

To Edit an Element Details:

Resizing and Moving Elements and Sections

To resize and move an Element or a Section:

  • While the Dashboard is in Edit mode. See Turning on the Dashboard’s Edit mode
  • Drag the Element’s or Section’s corner to resize the Element or Section.
    When the Dashboard is in Edit mode, the corner of an Element and Section can be dragged, to resize it.
  • Point to the Element or Section, then drag the Element or Section to the desired position in the Section or Dashboard.

Adding Elements to Sections

Element can be independent from each other or linked. Linked Elements are connected Elements, that will correspond to the selected item in the parent Element.

Independent Elements

To add an independent Element:

Linked Elements

Linked Element will show when the parent Element (e.g. a Pie chart, or a KPI box) is selected. When a specific item in a parent Element is selected, e.g. a segment in a Pie chart, then the linked Elements will be filtered accordingly. See General Dashboard Options - Drilling down with Linked Elements.

To add a linked Element:

Note: You can keep on drilling deeper, i.e. one linked Element can again be a parent for a next linked Element, etc.

Deleting Elements or Sections

To delete an Element or a Section:
