Listing HAZOPs (the Overview Grid)

To see the list of registered HAZOPs:

  • Click HAZOP to go to the HAZOP main screen.
    Click on the HAZOP Main menu, to list all HAZOPs. 
  • Use the scoping bar, the filter, or the search functionality to list the desired HAZOPs.

  • If desired, expand or collapse a HAZOP record using respectively the  and  button in the record row.

  • Each record shows several fields, summarizing the HAZOP (see the table below). To show more, click on the Settings icon in the toolbar and add additional fields.
Click the settings icon to modify the grid.

Default HAZOP data in the HAZOP record:

Expand

Expand or collapse a HAZOP record using respectively the  and  button.

Select

Check to select a HAZOP.

Active

The Active flag shows for each HAZOP whether it is active or inactive:

 Active HAZOP

 Inactive HAZOP

(A HAZOP is first inactive. After the first Final Approval it becomes active and remains so, also when a new Draft version is created.)

Name

Name (ID) of the HAZOP, click on the HAZOP ID to open the HAZOP details.

Description

Short Description for the selected HAZOP.

Unit

Unit to which the HAZOP is assigned to.

Plant

Plant to which the HAZOP is assigned to.

Labels

Custom labels (to be add by users) for each record.

Status

The current Approval status of the HAZOP.

Modified Date

The last date when the HAZOP was modified.

Number of LOPAs Required

The number of Layer of Protection Analyses (LOPAs) required for the HAZOP.

Number of Required Without LOPA

The number of LOPAs required for the HAZOP, for which no LOPA has been created.

Number of LOPAs

The number of LOPAs created for the HAZOP.

HAZOP Menu Toolbar

There are several shortcuts or available features that the HAZOP toolbar can be used for, e.g., to import a HAZOP or create a Report. For more information see IMS Main Screen - Toolbar.

Take note:

  • When selected HAZOP(s) are deactivated, their linked LOPAs will stay Active.
  • To delete a HAZOP it must be in Draft (and Inactive). Final Approved HAZOPs cannot be deleted. Also, only a user with the SIS ADMIN and SIS HAZOP role can delete a HAZOP.

Filtering HAZOPs

From the HAZOP overview page, several filters can be used to drill down the search results for the shown list of HAZOPs. Filters include items such as:

  • Created Date Range,
  • Active,
  • Has LOPA,
  • Status,
  • Etc.

To filter a list:

  • Click on the filter button.
  • Check the filters that you want to use.
  • Click Show ….
