Bolting Tools

Tools can be assigned to the Jobs of Flange Connections. These Tools can either be created or imported.

To Assign an (already created) Tool to a FC:

  • Go to the applicable Job.

  • Scroll down to the Scope Section.

  • Click on Assign Tool.

  • Select the FC and the Tool and click Apply.

Assign a Bolting Tool to a FC.

 

To create a new Tool:

  • Go to Settings \ Maintenance \ FCM Specific Data \ Bolting Tools.

Note: All Bolting Tools are visible here.

  • Click on the + button to create a new Bolting Tool.

  • Fill in the details:

    • Name,

    • Description,

    • Tool Type,

    • Serial Number, and

    • Calibration Due Date.

To import Tools:

  • Go to Settings \ Data Transfer \ Import Data.

  • Download the Bolting Tools Template.

  • Fill in the Template.

  • Click Browse to import.

Go to Settings \ Data Transfer \ Import Data to download the Bolting Tool Template.
