This article explains how to configure and use Safari only for when you are using the GlobalProtect VPN on the iPad.
If you have the older Ivanti/Secure Access VPN you can keep using Chrome on the iPad.
Currently there is a new VPN rolling out in Shell called GlobalProtect.
To reach IMS you will need to use the Safari browser.
However one change will need to be made in the settings for this to work properly.
The setting to "Request Desktop sites" needs to be turned off.
Please turn this option Off
Once it is off you should be able to reach the IMS Portal and your IMS website properly.
