There are various ways to create an RSL:
A Global RSL (GRSL) a generalized RCM analyses that is centrally created and readily available in the IMS library to the end users.
The Global RSL data is generalized/averaged based on industry experience and specifically cost are only provided as reasonable starting point to help priority setting and scoping, but should be tuned to the local actual situation. It is not set to reflect a specific site, contract, company or asset and any resemblance is purely coincidental.
You can use the GRSL after download into a local RSL version. For your application you do wise to modify the GRSL data and adjust it for your personal use in an approach called ‘localization’.
GRSLs are downloaded from a dB where they are maintained, revised and published.
