Release 2024.1
Note : These Release Notes cover enhancements applicable to the IMS Platform. All product specific enhancements are described in the dedicated product Release Notes.
IMS Offline App Deprecation
The IMS Offline app is being deprecated. Its successor is IMS4Field. From March 2024, IMS Offline will no longer be supported and will no longer receive updates or feature enhancements. By July 2024, IMS Offline will be deactivated and pulled out of the app store.
User Instructions
To learn more implications to your organization and how Cenosco will support you through the transition see IMS Offline deprecation.
IMS4Field
IMS4Field is a lite version of IMS dedicated to recording the results of inspections, maintenance and tests in the field using Dynamic Forms Checklists in Equipment Condition Histories. One of the main advantages of IMS4Field is the ability to use the software offline, such as in the field where an internet connection is often not reliable.
User Instructions
To learn more about IMS4Field, see: IMS4Field.
IMS4Field Improvements
Accessing all Schedules Associated with a Work Order
It is now possible to access all of the Schedules associated with a Work Order using a direct link. You can also use direct links to access FLOC and Equipment details in IMS4Field.
User Instructions
To learn more about using direct links in IMS4Field, see: Accessing IMS4Field Using Direct Links.
Opportunity-Driven Inspections
You can now conduct opportunity-driven inspections using IMS4Field. When an ECH without a credited Schedule is accessed for a piece of Equipment or a FLOC in IMS4Field, the inspection will be treated as an Event or Opportunity-driven inspection.

Opportunity Driven Schedules.
User Instructions
To learn more about Schedule or Event/Opportunity-driven inspections with IMS4Field, see: Using IMS4Field.
Unified Hierarchy View across Disciplines
IMS now features a unified representation of Hierarchy across Disciplines on the FLOC and Equipment Details Pages. Activating this capability requires the "Enable Unified Hierarchy View" application setting to be enabled. This will result in replacing the current Hierarchy section shown in the Equipment and Floc Details Pages in all the disciplines. The header of the new Hierarchy section on the FLOC Details Page will show a + Equipment button which will allow you to create a new Equipment, while the same section on the Equipment Details Page will show a + Circuit button if the Role you have on the site has the right to create Circuits.

Schedule / ECH Grid Filter Selection Memorized
IMS PEI and RCM now memorize your filter preference for the Schedule / ECH section grid on the Equipment / FLOC Details Page. Your Filter selections remain saved even when you switch to other Equipment or refresh the page. This feature applies to all filters on the Schedule / ECH Grid on the Equipment Details Page in PEI and RCM, not just the Discipline filter.

User Instructions
To learn more about the Filters, see: Filtering Discipline Schedules / ECHs on the Equipment Details Page.
Preview of CMMS Information in IMS
You can now preview CMMS information within IMS with added subsections for Notifications, Maintenance plans and Work orders. To access these tabs, navigate to Settings / Data Transfer / CMMS Interface.
Each subjection’s grid features a direct link to the respective Notification, Maintenance plan or Work order Details Page along with a Search bar, Settings icon for grid customization, export options, and a filter function.
You can click on the Down arrow on the left of each entry to see more information. For more in-depth information on each entry within the new tabs, simply click on them to reveal a new section called Connected Schedules below the list. This section provides information on the Schedules associated with the entry along with Equipment ID, FLOC ID, Condition History, etc., and a link to their respective Details Pages in the IMS.

Drawings and Documents
Drawings Grid Improvements
The Drawings Grid has been improved to make the listed results more intuitive and relevant. Some of the changes include:
Result counts in the Drawings Main Grid now reflect the number of Drawings instead of the number of connected Equipment.
When Equipment is pinned in the Equipment Main Grid, the Drawings Main Grid will display only those Drawings associated with the pinned Equipment.
Rows in the Grid List can now be expanded to show connected Equipment and clicking on the drawing link will open the Drawings Details Page.

Expanded results display connected Equipment.
Bulk-Assigning Drawing Sub-Types and Equipment
IMSFB-39227 Add ability to export for import to assign drawing sub types to Drawings grid
IMSFB-39230 Add ability to link drawings to equipment in bulk
It is now easy to bulk-assign sub-types and Equipment to Drawings by using the Bulk Equipment Connect-Export for Import functionality.
