IMS4Field is a mobile-first solution that was created as a companion for IMS. It simplifies data collection during field work like inspections, maintenance, and functional testing. It helps users access relevant information, record equipment conditions, and sync data with IMS, even in environments with intermittent or limited network availability.
IMS4Field can be used with any of the modules in IMS, including Pressure Equipment Integrity (PEI), Flange Connection Management (FCM), Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
To help support a variety of workflows and environments, IMS4Field is designed to operate in one of two modes:
Local Mode: IMS4Field automatically stores collected data on the user’s device and synchronizes it with IMS once a network connection is available. This is the default mode and does not need to be enabled manually.
Online Mode: In Online Mode, multiple users can work together and view each other’s changes almost in real time, enabling easy collaboration.
