IMS4Field Settings

IMS4Field has some user-configurable settings that can be used to customize the application.

Accessing the Settings

IMS4Field settings can be accessed from the right side panel. To access it:

  • Click the Hamburger button in the top right of the screen.

Click to open right side panel.

The right side panel will open and display the following items:

  • Display mode toggle

  • My Account

  • Upload Status

  • Settings

  • Log off

  • Version information

IMS4Field can be use either light or dark display modes. To change from light to dark mode, or vice versa:

  • Click the display mode toggle button.

The display will change to dark mode.

My Account

The My Account section displays basic information about the user currently logged in. You are not able to edit these settings.

Upload Status

The Upload Status section displays recent synchronizations completed by IMS4Field. It can be used to identify whether information has been successfully synched with IMS.

The Settings panel contains some settings that can be configured by the user.

Application Mode

  • Work online: The Work Online setting disables the offline capabilities of IMS. When this option is toggled, the IMS4Field page will automatically be reloaded to apply the new setting.

  • Keep screen on during application use: When enabled, this setting will prevent your device’s display from dimming or going to sleep while using IMS4Field. When disabled, your screen will only stay awake while uploading data.

Camera

  • Image quality: Allows you to change the resolution of images being uploaded to IMS.

Storage

This displays some basic information about the information stored on your device and allows you to Clear Offline Data. This can be helpful when the application is not responding as expected.

Network Performance

This section can be used to troubleshoot your network connection. Click Run Tests to run a network speed test on your device.
