Jobs Approvals
FCM uses the normal IMS Approval logic, where Approval rights are determined on a Unit level. Each user can have one of the following approval rights:
- Writer Approval
- Level 1 Approval
- Final Approval
For more information see IMS Approvals.
Job Status
A Job can have the following statuses:
- "Draft" - information still pending – not ready
- "Approved" - Job ready to be executed
- "Open" - Job is being credited with an ECH
- "To review"- Job’s ECH is writer Approved or Level 1 Approved
- "Reviewed/Closed" - Job credited with an ECH and Final Approved - completed
When a Job is created, its default status is “Draft”. After all Flange Connection Tightening data is entered, the Job can be “Approved” for execution. The Job has a “Draft” status until it is “Final Approved” and then shows “Approved”.
When the Job has an “Approved” status, no new Flanges can be added to the Job Scope. If you want to add a new Flange Connection to the Scope, the Job Status changes back to "Draft".
When the Job has an “Approved” status, ECHs can be created for the Flange Connections in the Scope. After an ECH has been started, the Job status changes to “Opened”.
When the ECH is “Final Approved”, the Job status changes to “Reviewed/Closed”.
