PEI FLOC - Details Page

The FLOC details page can be divided into sections:

The header of the detail page shows the name of the FLOC / FLOC ID and several navigation options.

Details Section

The details section shows key FLOC information.

The FLOC Level field shows the FLOC Level read from interfaced CMMS, when applicable. This field is not editable but calculated. If the value for the FLOC Level is not available, this field is hidden. The other fields listed in this section are described in the table in Creating New FLOCs.

Deleting a FLOC

To delete a FLOC:

  • Go to the FLOC Details Page.
  • In the Details section, click Edit.
  • Uncheck the Active checkbox to make the FLOC Inactive.
  • Click Save.
  • Now the Delete button will also show in the Details section.
  • Click Delete.
  • A pop-up will ask you to confirm. Review the details and click OK (or Cancel). Note: You may need to first remove an Explicit object.

A pop-up message will appear stating that the deletion of the Equipment was successful.

Narrative Section

The Narrative section allows the user to provide a long description for the FLOC. In edit mode the Narrative section is shown as a rich text field with several features.

Click Edit to add a Narrative.

 You can add Rich Text Defaults in this section if desired. For more information on Rick Text Defaults see IMS Details Page

Select a Narrative and click Insert default text or define a default by clicking Add new default

Condition History Section

The Condition History section shows the list of ECHs / inspections being done on this functional location. Often it happens that a physical piece of Equipment is moved between locations. This grid shows all inspections done on this location, also after a piece of Equipment has been moved to another FLOC.

Select a record and click the information button to see additional information. Click on the hyperlinks to navigate to these items.

Hierarchy Section

The Hierarchy grid shows information on all included Equipment assigned to the FLOC and their child objects (i.e. Components and Circuits). The hierarchy type for each object is listed, such as Equipment group for the Equipment (e.g. AIRCOOLER) and Component type for the Components (e.g. GENERAL, TUBES).

You can also create new Equipment from here.

Click New Equipment to create new Equipment for this FLOC. 

Specs Section

The Specs section provides a place to record important operation parameters for the FLOC. The available Specs depend on the FLOC's Location Type (e.g., AIRCOOLER-FLOC). The specs listed in this Specs section can in a later stage be inherited by the Equipment, Components and Circuits if the spec is available for these objects. Drawings and Documents Section

Here you can search for and add related drawings to the FLOC.
