Version 3.13C brings updates to existing features of IMS. Its main target is to stabilize and improve performance.
Enhanced Features
1. CCAM – Overriding the result
This updated functionality enables the IMS user to override the CCAM “Consequence Results” or even the CUI Priority directly. When the Consequence Results have been set manually, the “Reason for Deviation” will become a mandatory field to be filled in.
The CCAM Consequence result. The CUI Priority is calculated based on the available Consequence Results, but if these results have been overwritten by the user, then IMS will use the new user-entered values to determine the CUI Priority.
The user can decide to override the CUI Priority directly. In this case, like for the Consequence Result, the user has to provide the reason for the deviation.
The CCAM Reason for Deviation has also been made part of the Equipment list, as an optional field. Users can use the Equipment list filter to find CCAMs with deviation.

2. SPEC notes
Notes can now be added for every SPEC with a value. As soon as a value has been added for the SPEC, a notes button will appear.
The “add notes” button.
Then, when one or more notes added, the notes button will become blue and indicate the number of notes. In addition, a smaller number (in a circle) will indicate the number of attachments.
A SPEC Note. A note will automatically be saved when the SPEC, to which it is being added, already has a value. But if a new value is set for the SPEC, IMS will save the note simultaneously when the SPEC is being saved.
Notes can also be imported with the hierarchy SPEC import.
The Hierarchy SPEC import template. Two new columns were added the Hierarchy SPEC import:
- Note Nr; and
- Note.
It is mandatory to provide the “Note Nr” when users want to update an existing note.
3. Personal and private labels
When creating a new label, users can now decide if the label is private, and as such only visible to himself/herself. To create a private label, the user must set the “Owner” field to either himself/herself or another user. Alternatively, a label can be set to be visible for everyone but locked for changes. In this case, an “Owner” must be selected, and in addition, the “Public” checkbox must be ticked.
Only the owner will then be able to set or remove the label.
The new label pop-up with "Owner" and "Public" fields.
4. Bulk assign of Supervision and Authority
For sites using Authority Witnessing for ECHs and Schedules, new import templates are now available. These can be used to bulk apply the Authority and Witnessing checkboxes.
The Settings\Data transfer\Import data page now includes a new section for Authority Witnessing with two options:
- Apply Checkboxes on ECH
- Apply Checkboxes on Schedules
Users must provide the ECH or Schedule names and select which options they want to apply: Authority or Witnessing or both.

5. Importing Corrosion Loop attachments
Through the import functionality, it is now also possible to add attachments in bulk to Corrosion Loops. The Corrosion Loop option has been added to the Settings\Data Transfer\Import Attachments page.

Users must provide a Plant or Unit name in the import template, depending on where the Corrosion Loop is defined, then the Corrosion Loop name, and the Attachment name.
6. Enhancing the Planned Events filter
The functionality for the event list filter, in the Settings\Company\Planned Event, has been enhanced to retain filtered values when the page is refreshed. Now, when users filter the event list and go away from the page, the selected filter will still be on when they later come back to the page. Thus, this will now work the same as on the main lists, like Equipment, Schedules, etc.
Other Improvements
1. SAP Equipment ID in Component list
The “SAP Equipment Nr.” can now be included in the Component main list grid. The field is optional, so users must select it in the grid settings before it will be shown in the grid.

2. Count of CMLs in Circuit list
A new field, showing the count of active CMLs, was added to the Circuit main list grid. This field is shown by default.
The "Number of active CMLs" in the Circuit List.3. Temporary Repair number in Schedule list
A “Temporary Repair Nr.”, for temporary repair CAIRs, is now available as an optional field in the Schedule list grid. If an inspector adds more than one number, the numbers will be shown as a comma-separated list.

Small Enhancements
1. Enhancing the ECH Inspection Data section
The Inspection Data Step descriptions have been moved to a more prominent position on the screen. This is to make it easier for users to see where they are in the ECH process. Now the Actions Performed, Conditions Found and Repairs planned are shown in (and started from) the top of the screen.
The step description is shown in the top.
2. Renaming the PEI Viewer role
The PEI Viewer role has been renamed “PEI VIEWER”. This makes it consistent with the other viewer roles (RCM VIEWER, PLSS VIEWER, FCM VIEWER).
The different Viewer roles.
3. Definition for “Idle equipment” was updated
The correct definition per AMS RP 4.04.11 and AMS IMS RP 4-01.6 for Idle in Place equipment is: “Equipment to be isolated and decommissioned from the process for more than six months, but to be preserved for future use”. This definition has been updated on the Equipment details page.
