November 2021
Version 3.14 brings a number of new features as well as updates to existing features of IMS.
Highlights
1. Maintenance Efficiency Index (MEI) for PEI
MEI is now available in IMS PEI. It is calculated based on the RBI Assessment and shown in the RBI Assessment as well as on the linked Schedules.
The Maintenance Efficiency Index (MEI) is the ratio of annual risk reduction to annualized cost of performing equipment care tasks.
.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T12%3A39%3A26Z&se=2026-10-28T13%3A17%3A26Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=lg%2BRVt8lLrhfeubBzZRxT%2B%2BYT3Hx3dSbm9o9Y5eIMqk%3D)
Where:
POC = Price of Conformance = Inspection, Maintenance & Replacement Costs
PONC = Price of Non-Conformance = S-RBI Consequence of Failure (CoF - Asset)
ETBF = Estimated Time Between Failure = Remaining Life or Design Life
ETBC = Estimated Time Between Consequence = N x RL (default is 5xRL with 100 years being the max)
Thus, in terms of RBI this becomes:
.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-28T12%3A39%3A26Z&se=2026-10-28T13%3A17%3A26Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=lg%2BRVt8lLrhfeubBzZRxT%2B%2BYT3Hx3dSbm9o9Y5eIMqk%3D)
By default, MEI is only calculated for Category 2 and Category 3 Schedules, and only when linked to RBI Assessments.
1.1 Where the MEI can be seen
The MEI value and its inputs are shown in the RBI Assessment, on a separate MEI tab. (For old RBI Assessments you will need to edit the Criticality Assessment before the MEI will update.)
Click MEI to see the MEI tab with input values. The MEI will also show on the linked Schedules (by default only Category 2 and Category 3).
Click the MEI button in the Schedule’s “Scope and plan codes” section to see the MEI input values.
When you click the MEI button, the MEI inputs are shown. They cannot be edited when linked to an RBI Assessment. The MEI will also be shown as a column in the RBI grid.1.2 Enabling MEI for Category 1 Schedules
Category 1 Schedules are intended to be used for mandatory/code driven and jurisdictional tasks, for this reason MEI is normally not applicable and thus, by default, not calculated. However, it is still possible to be calculated and shown. In this case it must be activated in My Account.
To show and calculate MEI for Category 1 Schedules, you must check the option in My Account.
1.3 When Schedules not linked to RBI Assessment
MEI is only calculated in IMS for Schedules linked to RBI Assessment, since the “Asset” Consequence of Failure (CoF) is needed. However, when not linked to an RBI Assessment, users can estimate the inputs to the MEI calculation directly on the Schedule. In this case it will this be possible to Edit the MEI on the Schedule.
For Schedules, not linked to an RBI assessment, an Edit button is available in the MEI section.
1.4 Schedules linked to more than one RBI Assessment
When a Schedule is linked to more than one RBI Assessment, then the lowest MEI will be shown.
2. Alternative Hierarchy
IMSFB-18977
If an asset is interfaced with CMMS/SAP, IMS “inherits” the SAP unit hierarchy. This hierarchy, which is mostly designed for maintenance and finance purposes, may not fit some users’ needs in terms of asset integrity management related activities. Supporting this, IMS users have requested an alternative asset hierarchy that they could set up themselves. This way they can create areas that match the responsibilities of the inspectors and provide an easier way of scoping lists and dashboards.
2.1 CMMS Hierarchy
Previously IMS had one Top-level structure, which was available in Settings \ Company. This Company Top-level structure remains as is, in terms of functionality, but it has now been renamed “CMMS Hierarchy”. When there is a SAP interface, IMS will now align the CMMS Hierarchy with the SAP asset hierarchy. The CMMS Hierarchy will thus now be the one-to-one match of the SAP asset hierarchy.
2.2 Creating Alternative Hierarchies
Users now have the option to create alternative hierarchies in Settings \ Company \ Toplevel, by clicking the + button and specifying a name.
Creating an alternative hierarchy. 2.3 Defining Alternative Hierarchies
Once users have created their alternative top-level hierarchies, they can add (map) and remove (unmap) FLOCs to the Unit. This is done on the unit level of the alternative hierarchy. On the left is the list of available (Unmapped) FLOCs, together with the CMMS filter options. On the right are the FLOCs already added to the alternative Unit (Mapped). Users can select one or multiple FLOCs and move them from the left to the right, or vice versa, by clicking on the arrows.
Adding/Removing FLOCs to the Unit. 2.4 Alternative Hierarchies available on Main Screens
When an alternative hierarchy has been created, it will become available on all the Main Screens (grid lists) in IMS for the FLOC, as well as everything below the FLOC in the Hierarchy, e.g., Equipment, Component, Circuit and CML.
Alternative hierarchy selection. 3. Dynamic Forms
Dynamic Forms introduce a new option to create customizable checklists within the ECH. Dynamic Forms enable users to configure their own inspection checklists and capture the perfect inspection workflow.
3.1 Form Configurator
It is possible to edit existing Dynamic Forms or to start from scratch and create new forms. The options with regards to customizing Dynamic Forms are endless. For each Dynamic Form one can create multiple stages, and for each stage multiple sections. In each section, one can make use of control layouts and control templates to specify logic, add conditional constraints, classify answers (color code), reference lookup tables, specify unit of measure, add attachment fields, add signature fields, add images (e.g., “what good should look like”), etc. A manual will be provided to explain in detail how to use the form configurator.
The Dynamic Forms are available in the Custom reports Main Screen.
Dynamic Forms configurator. 3.2 Tracking Progress and Issues
IMS will track the progress of the checklist stages and show the number of issues recorded per stage in the “Inspection data and codes” section. Also, on the Condition History Main Screen (grid), the number of issues per ECH will be shown.
In the Inspection data and codes section of the ECH, IMS tracks the progress, shows the number of issues, and makes recommendations when applicable. 3.3 Recommendations – creating CAIRs
If configured, IMS can also make recommendations. When, in a stage’s detail, one can hover with the mouse to see the trigger for the recommendation. From here the recommendation can also be removed.
When in the stage detail, and hovering with the mouse, the trigger for the recommendation will be shown. From the checklist overview, the recommendation can be implemented, i.e., the CAIR can be created, by clicking on the red button. When in the Schedule pop-up screen, one can also select the applicable observations for the CAIR (by default all are selected).
Creating a CAIR from the IMS Recommendation. 3.4 Querying the results
The Dynamic Forms are not just for collecting data, but also for reviewing the data. The first step in reviewing the data is the filters in the Condition history grid: “Checklist Name” and “Checklist Issue” – the first for filtering per Checklists and the second for showing Condition histories with registered issue.
New filters for Dynamic Forms in the Condition history. For more advanced reviewing of the collected data a dedicated custom query, named “ECH Form answers and results“, can be used. The query provides all data collected with the Dynamic Form in a grid, which can be filtered per Checklist or set of Equipment. The same query can be used to query the Condition history list and the Equipment list. For example, you can request to show all Equipment or Condition histories where corrosion was found.
Custom query with form results.
Creating a new query. 4. Deferrals
It is now possible to follow the Deferral process in IMS PEI.
4.1 Enabling & Showing the Deferrals
To show the Deferral functionality, it must first be enabled in the Application Settings.
The “Schedule Deferral integrated” application setting’s B value must be set to “1”.The Deferral Main Menu can be enabled via “My Account”.
Select the Deferral Main Menu in “My Account”.There is also a CHANGE/DEFERRAL role. This needs to be assigned when a user has no other IMS roles.
4.2 Creating Deferrals
Deferrals are only mandatory (indicated in yellow) for Category 1 Schedules. For Category 2 and Category 3 Schedules it is optional (indicated in blue). Deferral only becomes applicable when a Schedule has been approved, thus it will not be available for Schedules that are still in Draft. Already Credited Schedules can also not be deferred.
A Deferral can either be created from the Deferral Main Screen (grid), or from a Schedule Details Page.
Deferrals can be created from the Deferrals Main Screen (grid).
Schedules can be deferred from the Details Page. When you Edit a Schedule and want to change the User Date, then a Deferral is also mandatory (yellow for Category 1) or optional (for Category 2 and 3).
When Editing the User Date, a Deferral is mandatory (for Category 1) or optional (Category 2 and 3).When, for the Category 1 Schedule, the User Date is changed (outside all possible NIDs) without a Deferral, it will not be saved, and a warning will be shown.
When trying to change the User Date a warning is given.4.3 The Deferral Process
The Deferral Process in IMS PEI is similar to the IMS RCM Change and Deferral Process. It must first be Requested, then Approved and lastly Implemented.
Requesting a Deferral
When a Schedule is Final Approved, but still Uncredited, it can be deferred. When you click the Deferral button (see 4.2 above) a pop-up opens with the Deferral details.
The Deferral pop-up.When the Deferral is created from the Schedule Details Page, that Schedule will automatically be added to the “Implementation System”. Otherwise, you can add the Schedule here. Equipment will automatically be added based on the selected Schedule(s). In addition, it is important to select a Discipline, set a priority, add a description and a new Schedule PM date.
Specify Deferral Details and Submit for Approval
After the Risk Analysis is filled in and saved and at least 1 Approver was added in the “Deferral Approval Stage”, you can “Submit for approval”. Optionally Implementers can also be added. (In future it will also be possible to predefine default Approvers and Implementers as is the case in RCM.)
At least 1 approver must be added before the Deferral request can be approved.A warning will show in the Approval Section if the Deferral Details has not been completed.
Warning is shown when the Deferral request is incomplete.
When the Deferral Details are filled in, you can Submit for approval. Approvers Notified
A pending Deferral shows in the Schedule’s Approval section.Approve the Deferral
Each Approver can follow the e-mailed link or select the Deferral directly in IMS. After review, they can either Approve or Reject the Deferral in the “Deferral Approval Stage” section on the Deferral Details Page.
Some users can still add additional Approvers at this stage. These are:
some Users can still update the list of approves. These Users are:
- Users with an Admin role;
- Approvers who are defined in the approval stage grid, when the status is “Waiting for approval”; and
- Implementers who are defined in the implementation stage grid, when the status is “Waiting for implementation”.
The Approver can Approve or Reject the Deferral. The Schedule will now automatically go to Final Approved when all Approvers have approved.
After the Deferral is Approved, the Schedule will show FINAL APPROVED with and Insp Function “Extension”.Implementers Notified
An email with a link will be sent to the Implementer(s) after all Approvers have approved the Deferral. The Requester will also be notified.
Implement the Deferral
Now each Implementer can follow the e-mailed link or select the Deferral directly in IMS. After all the changes have been implemented (e.g., in SAP), the implementation can be confirmed by Approving (or Rejecting) in the “Deferral Implementation Stage” section on the Deferral Details Page.
The Implementer can then Approve or Reject the Deferral. If Implementation is confirmed by all, the Requester is notified by e-mail.
If the Implementer Rejects the Deferral, the Requester, Approvers, and other Implementers are notified, and the Schedule will again go back into Draft.
5. Mitigating CMLs
When a Circuit is linked to an (Approved) CAIR it is now possible to (risk) mitigate a CML. In the CML Measurement History section of the Circuit, users can now mark a CML reading as mitigated, by right clicking on the quality indication. After the CML Measurement History is saved, the whole CML, i.e., all the CML’s readings, will be mitigated. The associated CAIR will also show that the CML has been mitigated. Alternatively, the CML can also be mitigated from the CAIR Details Page.
It is important to take note that the PERF penalty will not be applied when a CML is mitigated. Also, with the next inspection, when a new reading is taken for the previously mitigated CML, then the new reading will be marked as a Base (B) reading.
On the Circuit, in the CML Measurement History, right click on the quality indicator to mitigate a CML and remember to save.
Mitigated CMLs are indicated on the associated CAIR. From here additional CMLs can be mitigated or mitigated CMLs can be removed. 6. PRV Import
IMS can now import PRV data in bulk to create/update Specs, ECHs and Dynamic Forms. This (mostly automated process) works as follows:
User interaction required:
- A folder with the same name as the Configuration Name (e.g., “RepairShell”) needs to be created in the “Source Directory”. The “Source Directory” will be in a file sharing system that is accessible to Cenosco, e.g., SharePoint.
- The PRV data needs to be entered in an Excel spreadsheet (e.g., by the PRV vendor) and loaded into this specific folder.
Automated - The system will process the data in batch overnight, using the specified Configuration (e.g., “RepairShell”):
- The original file (that was loaded in the “Source Directory”) will be removed.
- Three new Excel files will be created and placed in a “Target Directory” in either the “Failed” or “Done” subfolders:
- HierarchySpecs,
- ECH, and
- ECHPEIDForms.
- The following will be done in IMS:
- The Specs will be updated;
- The ECH(s) will be created; and
- The Dynamic Form Checklist(s) will be filled in.
- When done, the original file, now saved under the Configuration Name, will be placed in the “Processed Directory”.
The user needs to create a folder with the same name as the Configuration Name (e.g., “RepairShell”) in the specified “Source Directory”.
Cenosco will specify the Configuration Name in the “SplitConfig”, e.g., “RepairShell”. Multiple configurations can be specified here. There are only a few pre-requisites with regards to the source file:
- The column names must be unique; and
- A few minimum fields are required to be filled in: These are the mandatory fields as in the IMS templates for ECH, Specs and Checklists.

In future this new import functionality will be generalized so that more Excel spreadsheets can be imported in a similar way.
7. Planned Events – Creating ECHs in Bulk
It is now possible to assign Schedules to Planned Events and create ECHs in bulk via the new Planned Events Details Page. There is now a Planned Events Main Screen (grid) with a list of Planned Events. From here new Planned Events can be created and users can navigate to the Planned Event Details Pages.
The Planned Events Main Screen (grid).
When on the Planned Event Details Page, users can add Schedules, and Equipment without Schedules, to the Planned Event scope. For this, the Planned Event must first be Approved.
From here the Planned Event can be assigned to any active, uncredited, non-default Schedules for the applicable Plant/Unit. Schedules that are still in draft can also be bulked Approved.
Here the Schedule due in +/- 3 months from date of the Planned Event are listed. They can be added to the Planned Event Scope from here and will then show on the first tab.
From here Equipment without Schedules can be assigned to the Planned Event’s scope. The Planned Event must not be Approved to do this.ECHs can be created for all Equipment in the Planned Event’s scope (one ECH per Equipment): After the Schedules have been added (and Approved), multiple Schedules can be selected from the list and credited. ECHs will be created for all the selected Schedules and listed in the Condition history section.
When Schedules have been added to the Planned Event scope, multiple Schedules can be selected and credited. This way the ECHs are created. 8. MEC Optimization board for PEI
The MEC (Manage Equipment Care) board that has already been used in RCM, is now also available in PEI. It can be used to align and optimize Schedules in PEI. It can be accessed from either the FLOC, Corrosion Loop, or Equipment Main Screens.
The MEC Optimization board can be accessed via the MEC toolbar button in the FLOC, CL, and Equipment Main Screens. When the MEC board is open, the filter in the top of can be used to display the desired Schedules. By clicking on a Schedule ID hyperlink, more information about the Schedule will be displayed.
Schedule cards can also be expanded or minimized. In future the Change Log will be used to view existing changes as well as to request new changes.
The MEC Optimization Board – to open the Change Log. 9. Degradation Log improvements
The Degradation Log, a query that can be generated from the Leak/Leak Save hyperlink in the Inspector Dashboard, has been improved. The improved fields include:
- ECH date & description
- ECH Narrative (shown when row is expanded)
- Equipment description & group
- Corrosion Loop (search to select applicable)
- ECH Checklist
- RAM (referencing SRBI)
- Tier (Tier 3 added to the dropdown)
- LOPC amount
- FIM Incident ID
- Product
- Downtime
- Reportable (replaced the G Metrex)
- SAP Notification
- Planned Removal Date (linked to removing CAIR NID)
- Re-Injection
- ECH Comment (free text field)
- Etc.
Also, as of December 2021, in the g-Metrex Dashboard, only leaks with “REPORTABLE” answer will be included in the dashboard count.
The Degradation Log can be generated from the Leak/Leak Save link in the Inspector Dashboard.
The New Degradation Log. 10. FABRIC MAINTENANCE Users
A new role, called FABRIC MAINTENANCE, is now available. Users with only this role have limited options. However, they can create AREA-FLOCs to which they can assign several locations. They can also create CAIRs (with the Fabric Maintenance checklist) and ECHs.
Users can now be assigned the FABRIC MAINTENANCE role. When Users are assigned this role, they can create FLOCs with Location Type: AREA-FLOC and Equipment Group: AREA.
Users with the FABRIC MAINTENANCE role can create FLOCs with Location Type: AREA-FLOC and Equipment group: AREA.Multiple FLOCs can be assigned to the AREA-FLOC. This is done on the FLOC Details Page in the “Area” section, which replaces the normal “Equipment” section.
FLOCs can be assigned to the AREA-FLOC in the Area section of the FLOC Details Page. These Users will have a “Fab Mtc Area” filter available in the FLOC Main Screen (grid list), which can be used to find all FLOCs assigned to a specific AREA-FLOC.
In the FLOC Main Screen a filter: Fab Mtc Area is now available. When Users only have this one role: FABRIC MAINTENANCE, their options will be limited. They will only have access to a few menus (see Figure 48).
The available menus when a user only has the FABRIC MAINTENANCE role.Users with only this role will only be able to create Schedules of type CAIR for an Equipment and the Schedule Driver will always be “FABRIC MAINTENANCE”.
Users with only the FABRIC MAINTENANCE role, can only create CAIR schedules and the Schedule Driver will always be “FABRIC MAINTENANCE”.These users will then (only) have the “Fabric Mtc” checklist available on the created CAIR.
Users with only the FABRIC MAINTENANCE role, can only use the “Fabric Mtc” checklist on the CAIR.Lastly, FABRIC MAINTENANCE Users can also create ECHs.
In the case where Users have the FABRIC MAINTENANCE role assigned, in addition to another PEI / Civil role, they will have the FABRIC MAINTEANCE functionality in addition to their normal privileges.
New RBI Features
1. Non-Metallic Material (NMM) DMs are now Age-Related
The characteristics of the Non-Metallic Material (NMM) Degradation Mechanisms in IMS has been changed from Non-Age-Related to Age-Related (and Non-Trendable). This means that risk-based intervals can now to be applied to Non-Metallic Equipment and that risk-based inspection schedules can be created for Non-Metallic Equipment.
The S-RBI methodology for AR NMM DMs follow similar logic as for coating/non-metallic liners:
- There is a user-specified “Installation RL” (i.e., Design Life)
- An “Installation Quality factor” (at installation date) is determined from a similar questionnaire as for non-metallic liners (see Figure 52)
- RL = “Installation RL” * “Installation Quality” (see Figure 53)
- IF is determined from the normal half-life table and is thus based on Confidence and Criticality
- MII = IF * RL
- NID = LID + MII (where LID is the last date that the NMM DM was inspected – e.g., when it was last credited in an Approved ECH)
The Installation Quality questionnaire.
Remnant Life tab for the new NMM (AR). 2. CLs for Tanks no longer flagged as “CLs with missing DMs”
Due to the way (the automatically created) Tank Corrosion Loops are configured, they were always flagged as “Corrosion Loops with missing Degradation Mechanisms”. This influenced the Completeness count that is shown on the CL Main Screen (via the filter) and the RBI Dashboard. However, from now on Tank CLs will no longer be flagged as CL’s with missing DMs.
3. RBI StF Internal Corrosion Definition updated
Based on the S-RBI Recommended Practice guideline, we have updated the Internal Corrosion definition for the RBI StF questionnaire.
An extract from the S-RBI Recommended Practice.
The RBI StF Internal corrosion questionnaire in IMS. 4. Additional Component Specs for SRBI Data Quality Completeness
For all Component types, the following specs have been included to be consistent with options available at the Equipment level:
- Process Fluid (FLUID TYPE or SRBI-PRODUCT are acceptable to get credit for Process Fluid)
- Operating Pressure
- Operating Temperature
- Toxic Fluid
- Toxic Concentration
- Toxic NH
These specs (at the Equipment level) are needed for the RBI Quantification dashboard. IMS will check if the component has the above Specs filled in, if not already at the equipment level. The equipment will be credited under Equipment Stage 3 of the RBI Quantification dashboard in both cases.
5. Easier RBI navigation
The RBI navigation has been improved. The RBI analysis is now sticky. Thus, the analysis will always stay open, while scrolling the Components/DMs, even when the list is expanded.
The RBI Analysis now stays open, also when the Component/DM list is expanded. 6. New RBI Main Screen default filters
The default filters for the RBI Main Screen (grid list) have been adjusted. This means that the default view will now only show Components and not the Corrosion Loops anymore. These can still be seen by changing the filter.
The default filters on the RBI grid. 7. Reintroduced UND-DEPOSIT CORR degradation mechanism
The UND-DEPOSIT CORR degradation mechanism (representing under deposit corrosion) was removed in the 3.13 release and replaced with CONCENTRAT CELL. Based upon requests from sites, this degradation mechanism has been reintroduced back into IMS and the existing degradation mechanisms assigned as CONCENTRAT CELL has been renamed back to UND-DEPOSIT CORR. The degradation mechanism CONCENTRAT CELL still exists as a possible option.
8. Warning message for Components with non-corrosive DM when additional DM added
A warning is now shown when a Component is assigned another internal degradation mechanisms, when it has already been assigned with a non-corrosive degradation mechanism. This is because from the methodology point of view, non-corrosive Service cannot go together with any other internal degradation mechanism. Take note, there will not be a warning for external DMs, CUI, and demand scenarios.
For NON-CORROSIVE a warning shown when another DM is assigned. Other New Features
1. Dual role users can now set a default view
IMSFB-25811
In previous IMS versions, when a user closed the browser or logged out, IMS would have captured the last dashboard selection and in the case of users with roles covering multiple modules, the last module which they were working on. When the user logs in again, they will automatically be logged in to the last module that they were working in and be placed on the last selected dashboard.
In v3.14, users can now decide to override this functionality by selecting a “Default module”, as well as a “Default main screen”, in the “My Account” section. This is then always the module and main screen that the user will see when they log in to IMS.
However, if a user does not set these default options, the functionality remains as it was previously. For example, if a user selects only a “Default module” but leaves the “Default main screen” field empty, the user will be logged into the selected module, but will still be placed on the last selected dashboard.
The new default settings for users with Dual roles. 2. Hiding nonrelevant logins
Up to now, the “User Authentication Events” list (in Settings\Maintenance\Security) showed all the system users’ logins. These system users authenticate the scheduled automated services: SAP interface and Global Dashboard. However, since these system users log in very frequently, the records were confusing for regular users. For this reason, the system user records are now hidden. If needed, they can still be accessed via a custom query, or on request.
The “User Authentication Events” list. 3. Search option for the CCAM Stream
In the CCAM questionnaire, to help find the correct “Stream being assessed” (i.e., the fluid), we have added a search functionality for the drop-down list.
The new search option for the “Stream being assessed”.4. “Radiograph” now one of the top inspection options
In the Inspection Data section, the “Actions Performed” list has been reordered so that “RADIOGRAPH” is shown as one of the top 5 options. This way users no longer need to click “Show more” to find the “RADIOGRAPH” option.
For the Inspection data, “RADIOGRAPH” is now shown in the top. 5. Additional filters on the CML main screen
We have enhanced the CML main screen with additional filters for “CML Next Inspection Date” and “CML Remnant Life”.
The new CML filters. 6. Corrosion Loop range filters for the CL main screen
For better filter flexibility, we have added two new range filters to the Corrosion Loop main screen:
- Corrosion Loop Number
- Corrosion Loop Name
Users can use these two range filters to search for the predefined list of the Corrosion Loops. The new filters work similarly to the other available filters, e.g., Equipment or FLOC. Users can add the Corrosion Loop Number or Name directly in the filter, or they can create a list in a text editor or excel and then copy-paste it into the range filter.
The new Corrosion Loop range filters. 7. New “Lessons Learned” section for Corrosion Loops
We have added a “Lessons Learned” section to the Corrosion Loop details page. If the “Lessons Learned” section is filled in on the Corrosion Loop details page, then this will be included in the CCD report. However, if this section on the Corrosion Loop is empty, then the Unit Level’s “Lessons Learned” specified in the Settings page will be included in the CCD report.
The new “Lesson Learned” section on the CL. 8. Default text for all Corrosion Loop sections
Previously the Rich Text Default was not available for all narrative sections on the Corrosion Loop details page. However, default text can now be configured for all the sections:
- Loop Description
- Process Description
- Corrosion Description
- Operation History
- Degradation History
- Potential Degradation Mechanism
- Lessons Learned.
Configuration for Rich Text Default. 9. INSP ADMIN role can create new Measurement Points
From now on, users with the INSP ADMIN role can create Measurement Points in Settings\Maintenance\Corrosion data\Measurement point.
Users can also add the newly created Measurement Points to the CML Configuration. Additional guidance on this will be added to the IMS Handbook (online user manuals) in the future.
10. INSP GENERAL role can edit the Send Report and intervals
Users with the INSP GENERAL role can now edit the “Send report” option, as well as the “Send Mail” interval, for already created Custom Queries from the owned queries.
The “Send report” and “Send mail” fields. 11. Hyperlinks for Created Schedules
In the ECH, hyperlinks were missing in the “Created Schedule” section. These hyperlinks have now been added for the created schedules. This way users can open the schedules in a new tab, while leaving the ECH open. They can then see both the ECH and the created schedule, without needing to go back and forward with the browser button.
The Created Schedules section, with hyperlinks. 12. Confirmation before attachment deletion
To avoid unintended deletion of attachments (e.g., on ECHs or Schedules), IMS will now ask for confirmation when users click the delete button.
A confirmation is now shown before an attachment will be deleted. 13. EVA on Equipment Group Exchanger
In addition to the Equipment group: Bundle, enabling EVA for Circuit calculations is now also available for the Equipment group: Exchanger.
14. R405 report now shows all approval level stages
All 3 approval levels were added to R405 report:
- Writer approval
- Level 1 approval
- Final approval
All 3 approval levels were added to R405 report.
15. Updated zip download naming
On the Attachment download, when exporting multiple attachments to download in a ZIP file, the entity name will be added as a part of the attachment name. Currently IMS covers the following scenarios:
- Download from Equipment - EquipmentName_Attachment
- Download from Corrosion Loop - Corrosion Loop name_Attachment
- Download from Schedule - Equipment name_Schedule Name
- Download from ECH - Equipment name_ECH Name
16. Added spec DRAWING NUMBER to STRUCTURE-FLOC
The STRUCTURE-FLOC now includes the DRAWING NUMBER spec. As a result, the Equipment groups for this FLOC type now also have this spec option. This will help guide users to additional information on drawings stored outside of IMS.
17. New options on Relief Valve Spec - MNPT and FNPT
Two values have been added to the Equipment Group: Relieve Valve’s FLANGE DESIGN TYPE spec. Users can now also select “FNPT” (Female National Pipe Thread) and “MNPT” (Male National Pipe Thread) from the dropdown.
FNPT and MNPT options added to the Flange Design Type SPEC. 18. Added “Lloyd’s Register” to DESIGN CODE spec
A Value has been added to the Equipment DESIGN CODE spec. Users can now also select “Lloyd’s Register” from the dropdown. This is to cater for equipment designed to the Lloyd's Register Class rules.
19. Assigning Training to users – Improvements
Several improvements have been made with regards the assignment of trainings to users.
19.1 Mandatory Training Date in User Settings
When the Training checkbox is selected, the “Training Date” is now a mandatory field. Each training also has a “Valid Date” which is used to show a warning in IMS (My Account) when the training expired.

Where many reports are available it can be a bit of a search to find the right report. To help with this, users now have the option to select which report to show in the list, and to pin their favorite reports.
Select which report to show in the list and pin your favorites. 25. CML Range filter for CML main screen
A CML Range Filter was added to the CML grid. This will save time when working with a specific set of CMLs. Take note that since CMLs can have duplicate values, this filter will show CMLs from various Circuits if the pin functionality wasn’t used.
The CML Range filter was added. 26. New Inspection reason – “No inspection required”
Inspection may not be required for reasons other than it being a "Class 4", e.g., when it is not in scope, or the item covered within package is already covered at a higher level. Previously “Class 4” was selected in these cases, but this is inconsistent with the API definitions. Therefore, an additional Inspection Reason has been added as an option in the dropdown: “No inspection required”. Like for “Class 4”, no default schedule will be created in this case.
“No Insp. req” can now be selected as the Inspection Reasons. 27. Rich Text Default now available in the Only CIVIL module
Previously when using the "Only Civil" module, it was not possible to set rich text default (in settings\maintenance\common data\rich text default) as in IMS PEI. This feature is now also available for the “Only Civil” module.
28. “Renewal Basis” now recommended field in CML creation
Previously “Renewal Basis” was not a recommended field when creating a CML. However, since this is an important data set, it is now shown as recommended (blue).
Renewal Basis is now a recommended field. 29. Location type - Equipment Group Compatibility Removed
In v3.14, we removed the strict relationship / compatibility between a Location Type and Equipment Group. The Screenshot below shows that users can now search for an Equipment Group. The Equipment Group no longer has a fixed dropdown list, based on the Location Type.
