Release 4.3
Note: These Release Notes only cover specific PEI enhancements. All other enhancements, not related to specific disciplines, are described in the IMS Platform (General) Release Notes.
Export for Import of Circuit and CML Specs
You can now export Specs for Circuits and CMLs directly from the Circuit and CML Main Screen (grid lists) respectively and use the Hierarchy Specs Importer to update existing Specs or add new ones.

Export for Import for Circuit Specs on the Circuit Main Screen.
The exported files include all the important fields needed to identify each Circuit or CML. For Circuits, it shows Unit, Floc, EquipmentId, SAP EquipmentId, and Circuit. For CMLs, it also includes Subsircuit and CML to make sure each item is clearly identified.
All specification types are supported, including:
Free text
Numerical values
Dropdowns (with a list of predefined values, available as Excel dropdowns)
Multi-specs (specifications with multiple possible values, which can be either free text or dropdown options)
When importing multi-specs, it is important to specify the Sequence column for each entry. For example, the first value should have a sequence of 0, the second a sequence of 1, and so on. Sequence values are prefilled for existing specs, but when adding new ones, the appropriate sequence number must be provided.

Exported Circuit Specs File displaying Specs that have Multiple values, each with Sequence column filled in.

IDAP Calc Service Converted from Octave to R
IDAP calculations have now been implemented in R as part of the ongoing modernization of the MTIA Calculation Service. This upgrade replaces the previous Octave-based engine, delivering enhanced processing speed, improved security, and greater reliability. The modernization ensures full result parity with the legacy system.
