PLSS Campaigns Overview

This overview describes the functionality of the Campaign module. In the Campaign module, you can select pieces of Equipment and Schedules for which a workpack should be created in Excel. During the execution of the work, the data has to be filled in the Workpack Excel file. Then this Excel file will be imported into PLSS and ECHs will be created.

The Lifecycle of a Campaign:

  • Create a Campaign:
    • Create a Campaign with a Campaign Type.
    • Add the Equipment of interest to the Campaign.
    • Select the corresponding Schedules from this Equipment.
    • Select, if any, Anomalies from previous Inspections of the Campaign to review again.
    • Review Campaign Scope, this will be exported to a workpack later.
    • Final Approve the Campaign.
  • Create the Workpack in an Excel file.
  • Provide Excel files to the person who will execute the work.
  • Import the updated Workpack Excel file. This will create draft ECHs and color the indicators where possible
  • Investigate if further actions are required, based on:
    • Conditions Found code
    • Narrative
    • Findings, is a Finding an anomaly?
  • Final Approve the ECHs (can be done in bulk).
  • Close the Campaign.
  • Create a new Campaign based on the user interval.
