PLSS Equipment - Overview

This online manual explains the Equipment in IMS:

  • How to interpret and use the Equipment Main Screen (Grid List).

  • How to interpret and use the Equipment Details Page.

  • How to create a new Equipment.

In PLSS Hierarchy you can see a visual depiction of this Hierarchy. Have a look to see where Equipment fits in!

The FLOC typically has specific operating parameters: flow rates, temperatures, pressures, fluid composition. Generally, each FLOC has one child, which is a piece of Equipment (with an Equipment ID). Each FLOC type can have one Equipment group assigned, e.g., to a  PIG TRAP FLOC, a Pig Trap can be assigned only.

Equipment is registered in the Equipment Main Screen (see Creating new PLSS Equipment).

The Equipment Main screen shows an overview grid, with a list of Equipment (see PLSS Equipment - Main Screen). The Equipment Details Page is where the Equipment is defined (see PLSS Equipment - Details Page).
