After starting an RBI 581 assessment you can add the Inspection History for your Component.
To add an Inspection History for the Component:
Go to the Inspection History & Specs section.
Stay on the Inspection History tab.
Click the Plus button.
Add the Inspection Date. Note that the last Inspection Date will be used in the Age calculation.
Add some text in the Results section.
For Age-Related DMs, use the dropdown to select the relevant Inspection Effectiveness.
For other DMs, check the box to indicate if it was inspected.
Click Save.
After performing the API RBI analysis and determining the Risk, suggested Tasks can be selected and added to a Schedule. Once the Schedule is Final Approved it can be credited in an ECH and all Tasks from the Schedule will be visible in the ECH. The Tasks that were completed during the execution of the Schedule need to be Confirmed / Marked as completed. When an ECH is Final Approved, a record is created in the API 581 Inspection History. The Inspection Effectiveness (IE) associated with a confirmed Task is also captured in the history record. If a subTask is confirmed, the IE from the parent Task is used, but only if that Parent Task has been confirmed, else the Task will not have an IE.
Take Note
An Inspection History record will only be created with an Inspection Effectiveness if the parent Task with Inspection Effectiveness is confirmed, otherwise the Inspection History record will not have the Inspection Effectiveness.
There is also another option to create an Inspection History from ECH if ECH is not Approved. This can be done by selecting an ECH in DRAFT in the Inspection History grid and clicking on the Apply button.
