November 2021

IMS RCM is used to develop a Maintenance strategy for Equipment based on a Reliability Centred Maintenance assessment. The following release notes describe the new functionality and improvements in version 3.14.

In addition to the stabilizations, version 3.14 contains dynamic form configurator and various new check lists.

System

1. Analysis remapping - when transferring Tags to new Systems

IMSFB-25528

Remapping tags to a new System, from the “Tags and Prioritization” section on the System screen, caused the tag Analysis on the previous System to be expired. To fix the issue an Analysis remapping function was added before the end of the reassignment of tags. This enables users to define where, on the new System, the old Analysis should be moved to.

Graphical user interface, text, application, email Description automatically generatedUsers can select “Show tags not yet assigned to current System”.

Graphical user interface, table Description automatically generatedThey can then “Map Failure Mode to Function-Functional Failure of a new System”.

2. Production Losses in Function and Functional Failures grid

IMSFB-6399

Column “Total production losses” is added on the Function and Functional Failures grid.

Change/Deferral

1. Unit automatically selected - based on selected tag

IMSFB-27918

If empty, the Unit field will automatically be filled in, based on the unit of the selected Location/Equipment.

2. Schedule date adjustments

IMSFB-27919

In the below figure the behavior of CHD Schedule dates are clarified.

3. Mandatory tag (Location/Equipment) validation removed

IMSFB-27920

It is now possible to create a new Change/Deferral without providing any Location or Equipment. The new requirement is to have at least one defined Implementation System.

4. DForm – Updated dropdown list for Estimated Remaining Life

IMSFB-27921

The “Basis” field has been renamed “Renewal Basis”, and the dropdown list was updated (see the figure below).

5. Creating Implementation Systems without a Schedule

IMSFB-27922

Now, when no Schedule can be loaded for a specific workorder number, IMS will allow the User to proceed with the creation of an Implementation System. A warning will be displayed to explain that no Schedule was found. In this case, the User will be allowed to manually fill in the “Due Date” and “Last Finish Date”, i.e., the fields usually filled in automatically with the Schedule data.

6. Number of Flocs and Equipment per request

IMSFB-26322

A “#Tags” column was added to the Change / Deferral grid. This field shows the total number of Flocs and equipment per request.

Graphical user interface, application Description automatically generatedTotal number of Flocs and Equipment per request.

7. Updating Approvers/Implementers when request in approval process

IMSFB-13930

When a Change/Deferral request is in the approval process, some Users can still update the list of approves. These Users are:

  • Users that have the RCM Admin role;
  • Approvers who are defined in the approval stage grid, when the status is “Waiting for approval”;
  • Implementers who are defined in the implementation stage grid, when the status is “Waiting for implementation”;
  • Users specified for auto approval for the specific Unit (defined in the request), whom also have a role allowing them to add approvers.

If one or more implementers are removed from the implementation stage grid and all other Users already approved the request, then the request will automatically go to the implementation stage.

8. Option to add MOC numbers

IMSFB-14768

Now, when the “Result of MOC” field is checked, Users can enter the MOC number.Graphical user interface, application Description automatically generatedMOC number field.

Also, this field can be found on the Change / Deferral grid and in the filter.
