 Aim

Ultimately, the aim is to verify the status of the Barriers. This is done by means of inspections and monitoring. How and when the inspections and monitoring should take place was specified in Step 12 by assigning the S-RBI results to the Inspection/Corrosion Schedule and proactive monitoring plans. The Barrier status will then determine if/how to maintain the Barrier in Step 14. The gathered data should also be used to review the S-RBI Analysis and IOWs in Step 15.
