Unified Hierarchy View

Article summary

SupportIn IMS locations are organized in Site Plant Unit Functional Location (FLOC). These are the highest hierarchy levels in IMS. If the Unified Hierarchy view feature is enabled in Settings, the Hierarchy is shown in a unified way across on the FLOC and Equipment Details Pages across disciplines.

Note: Only users with the appropriate User Role will be able to enable or disable this feature.

Enabling the Unified Hierarchy View

Your CSA can enable the Unified Hierarchy View. For this you can contact Cenosco Support if required.

To enable the Unified Hierarchy view:

  • Navigate to Settings \ Maintenance \ Configuration \ Application Settings.

  • In the search bar in the upper right corner, search for “Enable Unified Hierarchy View”.

  • Click the blue Edit button.

  • In the B value field, enter “1”.

  • Click Save.

Unified Hierarchy View on the FLOC & Equipment Details Page

If the Unified Hierarchy View is enable, the header of the Hierarchy sections on the FLOC and Equipment Details page contain respectively:

  • A + Equipment button which allows you to add a piece of Equipment.

  • A + Circuit button which allows you to add a Circuit but only if the Role you have on the site has the rights to create Circuits.

The Hierarhy section contains a grid with the following columns:

Column name

Description

Active

Indicates if the Equipment is active or not.

Name

The ID of the FLOC or Equipment.

Type

Object type.

IMS FLOC Level

FLOC Levels.

Installed date

The date when the FLOC/Equipment was installed.

Nr of CMLs

Number of Condition Monitoring Locations created on the Equipment \ FLOC.

Nr of Measurement Sets

Number of Measurement sets created on the Equipment \ FLOC.

The Hierarchy shown will include the following Hierarchy levels:

  • Site (1)

  • Plant (2)

  • Unit (3).

  • Floc (all levels >= 4, including sub-FLOCs used in RCM Hierarchy).

  • Equipment.

  • Component.

The objects in the Hierarchy section grid are structured with indentation to clearly show their hierarchical relationship. The current Equipment or FLOC Name is always bolded in the grid.
