This online manual explains:
The SIS Equipment Details Page.
An Equipment (in SIFPro this was called “Tag”) has all the elements of the “Tag” with a similar design, but with some added functionalities. Below the new functionalities are highlighted.
Linked Master Equipment
When an Equipment is connected to a Master Equipment (in SIFpro this was called “Master Tag”) the connected Master Equipment name is shown on the Equipment Details Page. The data (e.g., Failure Rates) from the Master Equipment will be copied to the Equipment. The linked Master Equipment depends on the CMMS Type, Instrument Type and IOSG. If one of these are changed in the Equipment, the data will automatically reset based on the details of the (new) linked Master Equipment.

The connected Master Equipment shows on the Equipment Details Page.
Linked sections are indicated by a Linked icon.

Unlinked sections are indicated by a Unlinked icon.

Unlicking / Linking sections of the Equipment Details Page to the Master Equipment
Most users cannot unlink an Equipment from a Master Equipment, only users with the Global admin Role will be able to unlink the Master Equipment from the Equipment. For them an Unlink / Link button will show for a section on the Equipment Details Page when they set that section to Edit mode.
To Unlink or Link a section:
Scroll to the desired section.
Click Edit or the Edit button (depending which section).

Move the Linked to master slider to the left / right.

Click Save.
The Linked / Unlinked icon will changed to a Unlinked / Linked icon.
(Linking and) Resting Master Equipment
It is possible to change data in sections of the Equipment Details Page, normally linked to the Master Equipment, when it is unlinked from the Master. For instance the FMEA data.

However, it is also possible to link and reset any changed data back to the Master Equipment data. To do so:
Scroll to the top of the Equipment Details Page.
Click on Reset settings to Master Equipment.

Select Reset only Linked Sections or select the sections (FMEA, Implementation, Repair) that should be linked on reset.

Click Reset to Master Equipment.
Batch Resetting Master Equipment
The Equipment Details Page sections can also be (linked) and batch reset to a Master Equipment via the Equipment Main Screen (grid list). To do so.
Go to the Equipment Main Screen (grid list).
Select the desired Equipment.
Click the the Batch Action button.

Select “Reset to Master Equipment”.

Click Next.
Select Reset only Linked Sections or select the sections (FMEA, Implementation, Repair) that should be linked on rested.

Click Next.
Review the preview and click Proceed.
Note: Even if you close the window, the batch action will complete.
Sections on the Equipment Details Page
Schedule/Test section
From the Equipment Details Page, in the Schedule/Test section, Tests can be assigned to Schedules.

Tests can be assigned to Schedules.
If a new Schedule is needed, click + Create Schedule.
Condition History section
There is also a Condition History section on the Equipment Details Page that will show the list of all Executed Equipment Condition Histories (ECH’s).
FMEA section
The FMEA section has an editable grid. Note: There is thus no need to edit one Failure Mode at a time.
It is important to review and set the correct Test Coverage Factors (L and H) for the Tests in the FMEA table.

The FMAE section with an editable grid.
The FMEA data can be edited from here in the Equipment Details Page or via a SIF Analysis on the Design tab. All changes made in the SIF Analysis are stored independently from the related Equipment FMEA data.
When the SIF Analysis is Final Approved, IMS will:
Overwrite the related Equipment FMEA data with the approved SIF design FMEA data.
Change the status of any other SIF Analyses linked to the same Equipment back to DRAFT.
Update all other SIF Analysis records associated with that Equipment accordingly.
When an Equipment FMEA is modified, all related SIF Analyses will automatically revert to DRAFT status.
To learn more about FMEA see SIS Glossary.
Implementation section
Actors are specified in the Implementation section. Only the SIS ADMIN and SIS SIF DESIGN Roles allow for editing the Equipment Actors. The following rules apply to the editing of Actors:
When the Actor is not used in any SIF Analysis (unlinked Actors):
All parameters are editable (Actor type, settings, and notes).
The Actor can be deleted by clicking the Minus button.

When the Actor is used in another SIF Analysis (linked Actors):
Only the settings and notes can be edited.
The Actor cannot be deleted. Instead the Actor can be inactivated by clicking the Minus button. Note: It is not possible to activate the Actor again. Instead you can create a new Actor.

Modifying an actor reverts all associated SIFs to draft.
Repair section
Various repair information related to the Equipment is documented in the Repair section. The Response time is used in the SIF Analysis to Verify the SIF Response Time. For Sensors the Accuracy entered here in the Repair section is used in the SIF Analysis to Verify the SIF Performance.
Hierarchy section
This section will show the Hierarchy of the Equipment.

The Hierarchy section.
Equipment Strategy section
Here an Equipment Strategy can be added by clicking the Edit button. In edit mode the section is shown as a Rich Text Field (RTF) with several features.
Rich Text Default
IMS offers the possibility to define rich text defaults for several sections in IMS. For more information see IMS Details Page.
Specs section
If there are any Equipment Specifications, we show them in this section.

Drawings and Documents section
Use this section to search for and link drawings to the Equipment.
Attachments section
Attachments can be added to the Equipment. They can also easily be annotated. See IMS Details Page.

Merging fictional (project) to real Equipment
A fictional Equipment can be created specifically for a project. When that project is done and the real Equipment is added to IMS, then the project Equipment and the real Equipment can be merged.
