Fabric Maintenance User Roles

To do Fabric Maintenance (FM) in IMS PEI, you needs to have a FM Role assigned in IMS. (This is done in the Security Settings). 

FM Roles

There are two FM User Roles (editor and viewer) in IMS PEI. Users with a FM Role have a lite / decluttered IMS PEI view, i.e., they see only the needed IMS PEI menus and functions. 

With the FABRIC MAINTENANCE Role you can:

  • Create & Edit AREA-FLOCs & assign multiple FLOCs to them.

  • Create & Edit Equipment (Equipment Group = "AREA").

  • Create & Edit CAIRs with the FAM Checklist (and link to Planned Events). Note: It is also possible to create Inspection Schedules.

  • Create & Edit ECHs with the FAM Checklist.

  • View a FM KPI Dashboard (and later 2D/3D Maps).

With the Fabric Maintenance Viewer Role you can:

  • Read (but not edit) all of the above.
