Step 10 Assess the Confidence:

Below is explained how to implement Step 10 in the Software. See also Methodology Step 10.

To determine the Confidence:

  • Select the Confidence tab in the right section.
Click on the Confidence tab to determine the Confidence in the DM’s forecast.

 

  • For some DM’s, and particularly Special Emphasis Components, Confidence does not apply. This will show here (disabled questionnaire).
  • If Confidence does apply to the DM, click Edit.
  • Consult Methodology Step 10 as well as the specific Special Emphasis Component and DM guidance.
  • Fill in the questionnaire based on this guidance. Note: Make sure to answer all the questions, else you will not get a Confidence rating.
  • Click on the Notes icon to document your reasoning,
  • Click Close when done.

Note 1: “Is analysed” will automatically be checked when all the questions are filled in. This can be unchecked if the analysis is not yet complete.

Note 2: The order of the questions is different for AR and NAR DM. (AR emphasizes inspection reliability and NAR emphasizes control over process parameters.)
