The Calc Summary must be calculated and Final Approved. This way the Schedule is credited, and a new Corrosion Schedule is created with the new NID.
To calculate the data:
Click the Calculate button to calculate the NID.

Click the Calculate button.
To Approve the Calc Summary:
Click the Approve button to open the Approve section.

Click the Approve button.
Click Approve to Final Approve the Calc Summary. Note: This creates an inspection event for the MSET.

Click Approve.
The Corrosion Schedule of the Circuit will be credited and a new NID will be set. The Inspection Event status will now show “Inspection Completed“. Also, if the Circuit is inherited to an RBI Component, the Final Approved Calc Summary will automatically be applied in the RBI Analysis Inspection History tab, to update the RBI LID.
Take Note
A recalculation will require the Calc Summary to be Final Approved.
However, a recalculation WILL NOT impact the Circuit’s Last Inspection Date and therefore also not the RBI LID via the RBI Inspection History. The inspection date is recorded in the Measurement Set itself via the Measurement Date and is not impacted by the recalculation date.
It is important to understand the difference between:
Crediting a Corrosion Schedule ("Insp Completed"), and
Recalculating a Circuit ("Recalculate").
This is explained in more detail in Approving Corrosion Circuit Calculations.
