Collecting Data with Dynamic Form Checklists
To collect Data with a Dynamic Form Checklist:
Credit a Schedule or specify if Event or opportunity driven.
In the Inspection Data and Codes section all Approved Forms (depending on the defined Conditions) will be displayed. Select your Dynamic Form Checklist from the dropdown.
The selected Form will be displayed.
Click on a Stage card to start filling in the Form...
To avoid potential data integrity issues, users should avoid working on the same Stage in a Checklist at the same time.
Dynamic Forms Autosave
When completing fields on a Dynamic Form, answers should be saved automatically when the content changes for most control types. For the following control types, the contents of the field will be saved when the focus is moved outside of the field.
However, under certain circumstances, such as a very slow internet connection or a temporary loss in connectivity, answers may not be saved immediately. When this occurs, your response should be displayed in blue while it is still being saved to the database. Once the response has been saved, it will appear black.
Adding Observations to Dynamic Forms
Add Observations if applicable (comments, annotated attachments / photos, and location).
Take Note
The Observation button only becames visible after data has been added to the field. This is because an Observation is an addition to the field data.
Annotating Images Attached to Checklists
You can annotate images attached to your Dynamic Forms Checklists by using the Annotation Tool. To annotate an Image:
Upload an image to your Checklist.
Select the image in the field.
Click annotate.
Add annotations, as desired.
Click Save in the top right corner of the annotation tool.
Completing an ECH
After capturing your data in the Checklist you still need to write the Narrative.
To review the data see Reviewing collected Checklist Data.
